News Highlights
1. Tifa apparently is in this. But we'll have to wait till the trailer comes out to get final confirmation, or else I need to track down a Famitsu or Shounen article with her. She was pretty much the highlight ending of the trailer, so high odds she'll be the next character unveil.

2. Lightning gets Aya Brei's outfit as her third alt. She even gets a radically different hairstyle

3. Any KH fans here? Cloud's third alt is his KH1 Version.

4. There's definitely some new locations, an airship in particular.

5. New interactions between characters. There no longer seems to be such an extreme segregation between plot archs.

I hope they don't make cloud dependent on his Ex-Mode in this one. As a fan of the original Final Fantasy VII, I think they should do him some justice in the sequel... *crosses fingers* But in saying that I bet I sound like a AC Cloud Fanboy... sweatdrop

And I was like biggrin when I heard Lightning has an Aya Brea costume. I jizzed when I saw the screenshot of her in it. (I love Parasite Eve. I played the game AND read the novel by Hideaki Sena the game was based off)

Tifa appears at the end. The contention now is who the owner of the Mysterious Woman's Face is.

The major problem is that we've never seen Cosmos in her human form during an FMV. So it's hard to tell if the blonde woman in the begining is Cosmos, or if she's possibly (maybe) Celes Chere.

Tifa's presence, and the fact that Cloud seems younger, and the knowledge that Sephiroth killed himself in the previous Dissidia War (Which is what this game is about), I'm starting to get the notion that Cloud, Tifa, and Sephiroth's plot will revolve strongly around Crisis Core.

You may be right...cuz in the trailer Tifa had no idea who Sephy was...That confused me but with what you say it makes quite alot more sense. And cloud doesnt have his Soldier uniform. Hes got Yoshitaka Amano's original outfit(I think). So that means its before he dawned the soldier outfit in Nibelheim with Zack...

So I managed to get a ball rolling on GameFaqs asking people to do research into wether or not other voice actors have, or are willing to blab about returning to do their characters voices.

I started with Rachael Cook, and someone twittered her. She promptly responded saying she is indeed returning as Tifa. If you believe in this, joy!

Someone else did this for Vaan's voice actor, and he states that he's already worked on a second game involving the character.

Looks like the FF crew has a new punching bag....
