Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Released in All Major Territories!

Okay, I haven't played in a long time...but I finally tried to go to Adhoc Party and play with a friend of mine, and we can only connect and play like 5% of the time. 80% of the time, we see each other in the lobby, we connect, and we hit "Enter Battle" and....get a "Communications Discontinued" message, and the last 15% we can't even get to the select character screen.

I tried with that friend's friend, who was in the same room, thinking maybe it was a PSP thing, no luck.

Tried swapping their PSPs and Memory Sticks. No luck.

Tried switching channels...no luck.

Does anyone know what's going on? Can anyone give me some hint as to what could possibly causes this and how to fix that? I've searched google, and seen some hints about it possibly being a savefile problem...but nothing more than that.

i like the old school style of playing but im starting to like the newer style but im scared because i am liking it

This? "If we do this [make a Dissidia sequel,] we'd like to have Kain and Gilgamesh; we don't care about KH charas in the sequel; we'd rather have Sazzu than Lightning."

So it's the opposite of what you think: legitimate, a Dissidia sequel *without* KH characters. Subject to change, of course, but that's what it says. And that last line promises that if there is a DFF sequel, Kain is definitely in, along with possible new systems of gameplay.

Nomura even said that he originally wanted Kain as the antagonist for IV but he chose Golbez because it would add to the story more. He also said that if they made a second Dissidia, Kain would definitely be in it. I always knew that they would add in Gilgamesh if they made a second one

I'm glad there won't be any KH characters. I say Dissidia should be a strict Final Fantasy thing

Gee I don't know? Maybe that Japan yet again is going to get a crap load of content, while the western world doesn't get any dessert? This is most likely going to be JAPAN ONRY just like all the other International versions of Square-Enix games.

Good thing I plan to show my appreciation by pirating a copy.

The US has already broken this "Japan-only content" barrier, a long time ago. =/ Either folks get together and make patches, like for Mother 3, and Persona 2: Innocent Sin, or the Japanese-speaking folks over here just import a copy and play.

I always thought that it was too good to be true, when Dissidia was comming to the western world it was all 'the western world will be getting extra cameos from characters that are not in the main part of the game unlike Japan who wouldnt be getting that' and now we see this. So yes, i was sorta waiting for something like this to pop up, something that would, once again, make us western worlders want to kill Square yet again buuuut I also dont, I mean, it is common knowledge anyway that Japan always does this, so whilst I am upset im not overly upset, it isnt the first time they have done this and it deffinatly wont be the last.
