Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Released in All Major Territories!

I was driven not by the desire to have a portable tactics, but because I wanted to see whatever new features were added. Like the cutscenes being animated in that odd style, new classes, and whatever other freaky little new aspects were added into it. confused

When the first scans came out, I wasn't sure about Kuja's new character design. I'd always been a little hesitant about what Nomura would do with him, which is why I've always been rather anti-"Kingdom Hearts needs Kuja OMG!" ESPECIALLY after what happened to poor Seifer.


...And then these scans came out. And I have to say that I changed my tune pretty damn quick. Aside from the boots (which are very, very wrong and...just weird) I was amazed with the extent that Nomura went back to Amano's original character art for Kuja. The hair, the gloves, his face...it's all heavily based on Amano's art, which made me quite a happy camper. He looks as beautiful and as deadly as he ought to. Apparently, getting hit with the KH stick wasn't as bad of an idea as I thought it would be.

Oh, and Zidane looks cute, too. >.>

Is it true that they're voiced? Because I've heard the rumors that the man who voices Zexion in Re:COM is voicing Kuja. If that's the case, then that's an acceptable voice, I think. At least, if he voices him like he voiced Zex and not like, say, Nanami from Sukisho.

Zidane looks amazing!! He was my favorite PS1 Final Fantasy hero, hands-down. It'll be great to see him in a new style, I think! 3nodding

The character section is looking a little bare. So I need those who are willing to write a summery/biography about Warrior of Light from FFI, or Garland (FFI). I tried doing it myself, but I didn't play FFI to know enough, and would like to have a writer with first-hand experience with the game.

Requirements: Proof-read, spell-checked, all that good syntax stuff that is usually required from good writing. Two to three paragraphs in length. Include a few facts from the game that ties into the character. Do not "assume", "think" or use an active voice in this piece. It's an expository, so treat it as such. Show no character bias by keeping their positions neutral. And obviously, no plagiarism.

Payment is based on quality and insight, a max of 1000 gold could be accumulated. You will also be credited for your contribution to this topic.

I will be choosing the best one after 10 days of this post. If more than one piece is chosen, I will be doing a combination of two pieces, in which the payment will be 800 gold each.

Thats a lot of gold for very little work. Garland and Light Warriar don't enough have enough history and personality to fill a teaspoon.

Garland was a general for the Corneria army, and protector for Princess Sarah. He decided the darkside had better cookies, and tried to use her to unleash Chaos. In the end he does this anyways. You defeat him in Chaos form, the game ends.

Light Warriar is even worse. No background, no history, no personality, no individuality. He is essentialy a nobody. If he gets any sort of a background beyond "One of Four Heroes Who Saves The World," it'll be something that the designers of Dissidia put into this game alone.

As another note, I'm also keeping an eye on the Wikipedia artical, and pushing in news I gain from here, AdventChildren.net, and other creditable sources. Already had to knock out IGN's fckup over mistaking Garland and LW for Kain and Cecil.

I hate IGN.

But yes, 1000 gold for very little work seems like a lot, but that isn't my aim. I want people to actually try to come up with one to two paragraphs of content, whether it's hard or not. And yes, IGN does suck.
