That's actually not as bad a price as I would have thought.
xD Compared to the stuff that we buy at around $20 in the US, it's a pretty good price.

Someone also sent this to me via AIM:

"Despite a hidden ending that hints at a sequel and Japanese sales inching up on that magical million, perennial Square Enix It Boy Tetsuya Nomura has flatly denied that a second Dissidia is in development.

At the end of a lengthy interview in the 704-page Dissidia Ultimania strategy guide, released yesterday, Nomura states: "There are no current plans for a sequel. To be honest, I wanted to do one up until a few months ago. I even called [Mitsunori] Takahashi, the planning director, and [Ryuji] Ikeda, the lead programmer, to talk about sequel concepts -- I told them to think about what they were going to do and prepare themselves [to make a sequel]. However, circumstances inside the company wiped that idea out... to actually make [a sequel] happen would be very difficult given the situation."

So what's the problem that they can't put in a sequel?
Could it be the economic crisis that maybe square enix is hurting? I dont think thats likely since anything they touch turns to instant gold...

Maybe they have other projects like the ff13 contimplation to worry about..
Not everything they touch turns to gold.
Facts we know

1.Square has a big announcement coming up soon. JumpFiesta or somesuch is the next major function Square attends, isn't it?
2. A large number of Square's Class A and Class B projects are near to completion.
3. No new projects for any of the first class teams have been announced, despite the XIII team being very close to being finished with XIII.
4. This bit of news was placed in at a very convenient time. And it was filtered through Nomura, who has practically become Square's press representative when it comes to large scale announcements.

Its gota be something big, if it both involves him AND drags him away from something he wants to do.

Let the FFVII Remake Conspirators cry out again.

I've actually heard that the video game industry is hardly effected by the economic crisis.

But then again, we are currently working on the fianicial crisis in North America right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just another title for 7 instead of an actual remake. They're gonna milk it for another 10 more years before they get to the remake.

A sequel to Dissidia?
Well, everything sort of ended. o:
Bad people dead, good people saved.

And you can't come up with another great story like that easily.
Because they're stocked full of projects as we speak.

They still need to get XIII done.

They made that announcement years ago. And I believe that countdown started with AC's conception. Meaning that at this point, I'm sure its somewhere less then half a decade left. Enough time for ONE game. Period.
Dissidia arrived at my house this morning. i'm very much enjoying it. it's distracted me from living my life.

so far, i've purchased Kuja and Kefka, and completed Squall's story. i only got two stars. sad

i think Kefka may end up being my "MAIN". he's fun.

i'm surprised how feminine Zidane is. i always thought his voice should be broken - but with how he's been designed in Dissidia, the female voice actually suits him. he's just a spunky little girl. ^___^

although it's a shame he's not the MAN i expected him to be. and Squall's a lot more boring than what i hoped for...

but Tidus - i love the way he fights. and so much more likeable with his Japanese voice.
