This is awesome, now i can look forward to both final fantasy: crisis core, and now final fantasy dissidia. I hope they both turn out well.

Now that i know more about this title, I am actually looking forward to this game now. Before I thought it was just another way for them to make money somehow and probably wouldn't be any good. But now...Aw man I can't wait blaugh (If only I had a PSP...a DS would be good as well.... crying )

Nomura's Kuja has a remarkably less trap face.

The Alternative Chans will be disappointed. XD He still has slightly female hips though. It's odd but in game they seem just a fem as their IX counterparts but their drawings seem more masculine then IX.

At least Kuja has a better array of expression then Sephiroth. I wonder what Kefka would look like in Nomura's style.

I also wonder if they're going to pick Balthier or Vaan to be in the game. My guess is Balthier since he seems to be the FFXII favorite.

so far nomura has made everyone look cooler then they did (imo) but i don't think vaan could be cool no matter who drew him, i'm hoping ashe from 12 though, she was my favorite

Well, none of these scans seem to suggest any team mode, just 1-on-1.

A couple of other things from the scans:

- Will have wireless battles
- You can customise characters with equipment
- It will have a central story, by playing through the game with each character you'll be able to see all of it
- The letters at the right side of the screen tell you if there's a chance of you getting defeated soon or not
- The 'Brave' counter above your HP affects your attack strength, and goes up as you attack the enemy or destory objects such as pillars on the battlefield

So far, it looks like we'll definetly see Kefka. Thing is, I don't remember Kefka ever actually using anything but spells...Hrmm.

Unfortunatly, somebody or other will be left out. Because there are 10 main character slots so far it seems, and there are 11 storylined games, not counting the Tactics and Crystal Chronical series.

...I'd take Fran and Penelo over Ashe anyday. My opinion of course. Ashe just bored me through out the entire plot. Even when she was doing something it was almost like she wasn't doing anything at all to me.

Plus you're forgetting chaos-odin. There are no girls in this game. It has to attract the Yaoi fan girls! XD

Celes and Terra are the most likely candidates to fill the role of Hero for FFVI's slot. So I'd hold my breath on that. Celes weilds a mean sword, and her abilitys can be reinvented quite well, especialy her spell absorb skill and natural magic skills.

I still don't know who made the FFV sprites, or what their on paper designs were, but they were 100% better then what Amano gave us.

If any of them apear in the game, hopefully Nomura will nod to that mysterius artist, as opposed to Amano.

I doubt Locke will. The keyphrase is "Warriar of Light." meaning, the leader. The one person everyone gets behind. Yes, Locke and Terra are important story centralized characters. But its really Celes that everybody gets behind towards the end of the game, as I saw it.

This also makes things odd for FFXIII if thats so. None of the characters were exactly leaders as far as my first 3 hours of impression. THough maybe somebody developed after the point in which I gave up?

More likely it'll end at FFX, and ignore XII.

They'll probably pick Vaan since he was introduced as the "main" character from FFXII.

If they don't do that they'll go with Balthier due to popularity. My impression was that he was the defacto leader a majority of the time with Ashe and Basche sorta leading, sorta not.
