"10. Final Fantasy: Dissidia -- a fighting game starring characters from throughout the twenty years of Final Fantasy games. Unfortunately, it's going to be for PSP, which has turned up the noses of the usual Japanese Internet whiners -- the PSP's D-pad just isn't popular, and neither is its analog stick. Then again, no one is sure what exactly the game is going to be like. There's a possibility it could be a menu-based fighter, like the half-dozen shudder-inducing games by Sony, based on the "Bleach" comic. Square-Enix's strict secrecy is getting the best and worst of people's internet imaginations. At any rate, it seems to me like a nice enough gesture: a wide variety of characters, brought together at last, redrawn by artist Tetsuya Nomura in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the series. At least all of the characters -- even (especially) the obnoxious ones -- are memorable. I'd prefer it if it were for next-gen consoles and developed by Namco's Soul Calibur team, because heck if those guys don't have trouble making interesting characters, though I guess this is good enough."
Not exactly a reliable source, but it's something to tide you guys over while we wait for more official news.

At the rate of how this game is shapping up...We'll only get all the main heroes and their villain counterparts.
Yay, just FULL of variety. v_v;;
