if only... i mean, with foreign movies, the default is always the original language, with subtitles. i wish games were the same.

FF1, 4, and 9's characters come from very distinctly medieval based world.
FF 2 for some reason reminds me very distinctly of the 1800 france.
FF 5, and 6 aren't really so much so medievil. I'm not sure what kind of accents to consider, beyond the fact that I personally for some reason always imagine Terra to sound Welsh.

But, I'm not sure. I imagine Zidane will have an American accent anyway - like how Vaan and Penelo had American accents despite everyone else in Ivalice.

Firion, Cecil and Light Warrior should definitely speak in that early modern-english style though.

Y'know, a french accent could give Terra a lot of mystique...

Something thats got me curious is how little Chaos is talked about so far in all the demos, trailers, and interviews. We have a very clear idea of what the villains, and even some of the heroes think of Cosmos. But what do the characters think of Chaos, and his role in things? What role does HE play in all this? The villains all seem to be acting under a banner cooperation (though easily broken) in the name of defeating Cosmos, while no allegiance to Chaos seems to have been spoken of.

I would love Terra with a French accent.

So far -probably because of the lack of information - it seems to take the shape of the darkness in Kingdom Hearts, in which they're not specifically working FOR Chaos, but rather for their own ends, refusing to acknowledge they're being manipulated. But, like I said, it's most likely just because there isn't that much to work from.

Well if the person that picked the voice acting for Kingdom Hearts spends time doing this game, then it should all be fairly solid. And though FFX was a bit rough, the voice acting was fairly decent, but once again, I'm vying for the Kingdom Hearts peeps to pull through and get us some sweets voice actingz. I really hope they make the whole system really solid...
