Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Released in All Major Territories!

Square Enix is slowly spreading Final Fantasy to other types of gaming genre. Would you like them to continue this trend?

Just imagine it...you are beating the snot out of a FF character...preferably a hunk or pretty boy...like Cloud or Kuja....
You beat them and then they are laying there on the floor...
(This might only be possible in 2p mode because computer players won't stay on the floor and I hope this will be like other fighting games where you have to press a button to get up)
....laying on the floor doing nothing...face down...or face up if you prefer...
...and then you start getting ideas like "Hey, I couldn't do this before in FF games but I can now!"...
...and then you start teabaging.... heart
....or dodge rolling all over them if that is the closest we can get. xp

although i guess the battles could possibly get repetitive... and the american voice acting might just ruin it for me to some extent

Then turn the volume off and read subtitles (if there are any). The voice acting should be the least of your worries.

I'd assume that disk space limitations would prevent that - the feature of multi-language *voiced* dialogue is common in movie DVD's but not in video games. Considering how pretty the game looks, and how dynamic the stages seem to be, I'd assume that most of the game's space will be taken up by its engine and play features, and coded to have enough sound storage for one language.

This doesn't exclude the possibility of us getting it with ONLY JP-subbed; this would actually facilitate localisation a great deal. (But even that's not likely. Let the anti-Anglophone QQ flow!)
