Game's going to ******** suck since they put Sephiroth in. Unless they pull some drastic, epic s**t like putting in the Minstrel from Romancing SaGa and Alkaiser form SaGa Frontier, the game's just going to be awful.

I also expect that no matter which characters get put in, the gameplay's going to be broken as hell. SvC Chaos, you have a new friend at the bottom of the broken barrel.

Besides what can Sephiroth do? Garland and Kuja are in the game. Sephiroth in plot and power is like epic phail compared to those two. Throw in Kefka whom is one of the only three villans to succeed for some time and one of the only two that actually succeeded in the destruction of a planet and Sephiroth is cluster ********.

The only way SE can break the game is by satisfying the FFVII fan girls and making the VII crew overpowered compared to characters that in fantasy reality should be more powerful.

I don't care how Omnislashy Cloud is, Kefka will just laugh at his hair and poison his lifestream.

Remembering the last few fighting games Square's made, and its brawler, I can't say much for how well the game is going to balance out. They program their fighters like they program their RPG's, and it's not good for competitive play at all.

And of course they're going to overpower Sephiroth. It doesn't matter if he's canonically the weakest villain ever. The slobbering fanchild faction loves him, and if he's anything less than SvC Chaos Geese Howard level broken, they're going to throw fits.

But do you seriously think they'd not put him in and miss out on ALL THAT MONEY?

He won't nessecarily be broken... while a ton of fanboys would love that, the other half of the world would be throwing s**t-fits. Like me.

I don't think you can say the game will suck just because they're putting Sephiroth in it. They were bound to due to FF7's popularity.

But don't you get to fight him using Zidane? That's pretty neat, and it'll be fun to see the protagonist of the game everyone calls "kiddy" kicking his a**.

No matter what character they put in it really will not matter.

...Long as they balance those characters.

I highly doubt Romancing Saga or SaGa Frontier will be included.
But if they were I want Gustave, coat version, of Saga Frontier 2.

SquareEnix usually has a pretty good idea of balancing out things.

I doubt they would go so far as to ruin a game by giving Sephiroth/Cloud ULTIMATE POWAH.
Rule of fighting games, if you unbalance it people will stop buying.

If I were SquareEnix I would throw Sephiroth in just for the money.
I never even liked Sephiroth to begin with, I'd still toss him in.

I want to beat up Sephiroth with Quina.

I have yet to play any Square game where the gameplay was at all balanced. Square almost religiously adds ludicrously broken s**t to their games, and I've never once seen them even ATTEMPT to make their characters equal in ability or usefulness, except for those instances where they don't differentiate the characters at all.
