And that Terra looks, to me, like they merged Celes and Terra. The blond hair threw me off.

I see an alternative outfit there on Squall.

Now that is awesome. I was not aware they were doing that. (For the record, I've scarcely had time to keep up with releases or this thread! Sorry if I'm way behind!) I wonder what other kind of outfits would go along with them. Squall's SeeD graduation clothes were not too far of a stretch. though now all I can imagine is Cloud in the purple dress.

I'd buy. Jesus, would I buy.

Yeah, I actually prefer this outfit for Squall. As for Cloud, I see Advent Children style (though I don't care for it) or possible his Tactics clothes (Which I would much prefer.

Cecil's is already said, but for Tidus and Zidane, we may not have as easy of a clue. (Shuyin would be disastrous for Tidus)
Terra is blonde due to the aesthetic choice to use Amano, as opposed to sprite art. No doubt alternative costume will most certainly involve green hair.
Butz and Onion Knight having alternatives is basically in their gameplay I assume...
Probably.

Zidane never really dressed up that I remember - not even during the play, right?

Giving Tidus an alternative outfit like Shuyin would be kind of redundant. His current Dissidia outfit already resembles it. What more could they do to make them alive? Change the top? That hardly seems worth the effort.

Unlike Cloud, who's worn so many outfits.

I would love to see an alternative outfit like what Cloud was wearing as a Shinra Grunt. Especially one based off the design present in The Last Order.

Well we all know what Kuja will look like... heart
The closest Zidane got to changing would be the cloak he wore at the very end, but that's it.

If that's Ultimecia's EX-Mode, that's... pretty well ******** up. o.o It looks like she skinned Griever and is wearing its pelt.
All of the villains ex-modes are fusions of their multiple forms, if they have more than one. Even Golbez is fused with Shadow Dragon.

50 summons in total. Gilgamesh is mentioned. Some are plus, some are minus. Meaning probably 25 different stat boosts, and 25 stat deduction summons. The artwork is from various games.

That terra picture is pretty much debunked by another GF forumer. There are too many discrepencie between the FMV of her, and this supposed drawing.

Well it was pretty well done fanart, I must say.
Looks like Dissidia is going to be a downloadable game too.

It seems a worthy way of distribution if you are worried about avaliability, though I would still prefer the disk. Downloads don't always hold up if your computer crashes, as well as it would be easier for it to become a torrented product.

Don't forget the fact that the Dissidia game (from what I hear) may come in a Dissidia customized PSP package.
Well, considering now every "Small" icon now probably has a roster as a Summon Boost, I'm no longer quite as worriedabout monsters there really can't be 50 summons to show to begin with, can there? There's got to be some monster carry overs. Imp, Malboro, Ahriman, I can easily see them as negative stat bashers.

I need to go do some counting. But I get the impression thats how all monsters are going to be represented. It makes me a little sad that it seems there really won't be any monster fighting...But at least now it seems they'll still get their due homage.

There's not much left for Square to hide now, but there are still a few bits of FF memorabelia that have yet to be accounted for.

1. Other characters: Surely supporting characters will apear, neh? I can't imagine some of these characters being motivated without some sort of contact with their alleys.
2. Items: We know treasure chests will be involved. But what exactly will be in them?
3. Armor/Weapon/Accessory shop: We know nothing about that system.
4. Status effect: Blind, Poison, Mute, Paralysis. Haste, Regen, Protect, Shell. All of these are token effects that have been with the games since day 1. Will they be included?
5. Airships: One of Final Fantasy's greatest hallmarks. How will they be included?
6. Where the bloody hell is a Cid?

I still think that's dumb reasoning. Bartz has white hair in Amano's art, and nearly everyone Amano draws is blonde anyway, including Squall, as well as Garnet, Aerith, and Rinoa, plus a white haired Tifa.

But anyway, I imagine that Bartz' alternate will be color-based on his Amano art (white hair and brown clothing). Terra I'm sure will have green hair in her alternate, in which case I'll only be using her alternate since that, I believe, is what it should be anyway. Cloud has multiple possibilities, his AC outfit, his CC outfit, his terribly unlikely but extremely wanted Wallmarket outfit, and his Kingdom Hearts outfit. Even though KH is a separate series, that's the only outfit (aside from WM) that he wears in his anime-style hair. Squall will probably have the SeeD uniform, and Tidus will probably have his brighter color scheme from the actual game.

I wish their were more than just one alternate costume each though. And I didn't realize that Cecil's dark knight was his alternate, I was thinking they'd each have their own sets of abilities. confused

EDIT* Wtf? How, in ANY way, does Exdeath's Exmode resemble Neo Exdeath?

According to recent interviews, they plan to have at least four alternative costumes for each character.

I have no idea HOW they'll do that when some characters barely have two designs, but thats what they want to do.

So far it seems like each character gets their default Amano hybrid, a change for exmode, and two alternative costumes. Maybe the second extra will be a joke costume? If they have any sense of humor, this could be enjoyable. We can still keep our hopes up for Ms.Cloud McPigtails

OnionKnight and Cecil's transformations remain seperate from alternates. Remember, Onion Knight can apear as luneth, despite already having two distinct forms. So obviously there's room for Cecil to have alternates. They may both only be limited to one other alternate, but they'll still have it.

I'm not familiar with Exdeath's forms yet, as I've not played through V enough. But I think his Ex-mode is one version of his final form, while his Exmode transforms yet again.

Oh really? Cool, that'd be great. I could see them doing a joke theme (like in Soul Calibur with the gag weapons), but it'd probably be hard to come up with joke costumes for all the characters. A lot of them will probably be simple color swaps like in Smash Bros. Although that'd be really interesting to see what kind of alternate costumes the villains could get.

But yeah, Exdeath's Exmode looks nothing like either of his final forms. I didn't really expect it to considering the sheer size and disproportionality of them. It looks neat though regardless.

EDIT* I take it back, his Exmode looks similar to the way he looks in the first of his final battles.
Wow. Dissidia's getting a C from Japan's CERO system. Thats pretty much the same level as ESRB's Mature rating. I'm not sure a Final Fantasy game has ever received a rating higher than 16+

o_o;;; There's either a mistake, or Nomura wasn't f'in kidding when he said we'd hardly seen anything yet.
