Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Released in All Major Territories!

We still don't know if it's even remotely like Smash Bros.

But is it like... with all the FF characters.

There are way too many FF characters for them to pull off all of them being in a 3D environment on PSP.

How intresting! I never thought that a game like this would come out. Not that there's anything wrong with it. Not at all. I'm quite looking foward to this one. Not only does it look like a brawler instead of the original RPG, but it's something else other then the main stream Final Fantasys... I think. dramallama

Kuja is the only FF character I know with silver hair that feathery and lipstick that pink.
And the whole shoulder things give it away.

Though you have to admit that the make up is a tad bit off. I know Kuja never wore pink lipstick in Final Fantasy IX. It was like... a darkish type of red, close to brown while his eye shadow was red. Though his shoulder pads do stay a littler similar to the original.

The best Final Fantasy game was by far, VII! So why not follow that?

They're turning Final Fantasy into Zelda! Which is a great game but it already exists in its own theme.

The game is called Final Fantasy, not Final Reality, which is what they're trying to do to everything in the game, like the battle systems and such.

Secondly this is starting to look more like Super Smash Brothers - at least that has been the common relation - and no one has mentioned Zelda. Additionally your idea of Zelda is apparently off by a great deal if you want to relate a brawler/fighter game to the Adventure Real Time RPG.

You are posting in the wrong thread to be throwing Zelda out, try FFXIII thread so they can knock you down there.

The goal of Final Fantasy is as much realism as possible while maintaining their fantasy elements for entertainment.

To be honest, this doesn't look promising as a game storywise. It seams like they're yanking all of the main heroes, and pitting them against all the villains.

None of the side characters, no actual plot. Hell, there really isn't even recognizable areas. Just the characters taken right out of their worlds.
