Square Enix is apparently doing tons of things to celebrate! Their Japanese Store Catalog has merchandise with the logo pictured above slapped on it. There's a travel mug (I never knew they had these!) and collectable playing cards.

The Official 25th Anniversary Box Set has been announced! (Aug. 31 2012)

The box set contains every game in the main series to play!

EVENTS

Square Enix had thrown two events (One in Japan in Shibuya and one in the United States in Seattle) announcing major stuff for the Final Fantasy and celebrate twenty-five years of the series.

You can watch a live UStream for those unable to attend!
Pax Prime Preview - Final Fantasy Events

If you are watching the UStream, people at home can score codes and passwords for any Square Enix games on the PSN, iOS, and many more!

If physically going, people will be given a free poster featuring Amano's artwork of the first fourteen Final Fantasy games and take pictures in a battle field shot.

TheatRhythm Final Fantasy is out for the iOS systems.
Yep, play the 3Ds on your iPad or iPhone. Be careful though, you'll only get "One Winged Angel" and "Zanarkand" and 13 characters. You'll have to spend $147.03 for the rest of the DLC.

And Japanese fans have declared Zack Fair as the most favorite male Final Fantasy character, beating Cloud by a hair from the Final Fantasy forums.

Though thank you and it would actually be cheaper to get it in from America, it would be 19.56 from Japan or 13.72 from America.
