Just cheap wigs and poor costume concept.
If one thing someone should take as advice from me is to not buy costumes on cosplay websites. They use the cheapest fabrics none to man. If you have to buy the costume look on etsy or something where you know that person has personally made the costume themselves.

You gotta admit, that Ultros costume is pretty epic... cat_whee
