Mortl Kombat 2. Seems more cooler than the 3rd one, and I never played the first one though. The Trilogy is cool, but I prefer the 2nd, cuz it has Katana and Milena. smile

The most recent one I played/owned was Deadly Alliance.
Lack of Liu Kang was a travesty, but the huge form flowing combos were amazing.
Once again tho, Raiden was stronger than any other 2 characters combined.

ultimate 3 for 2-d because it had the widest selection of characters of any other 2-d mk game i played. for 3-d ARMAGEDON IS THE BEST. though i think the creat-a-fighter could have been better, the simplified fatality system and every acutal mk character that was in the acual seris (minus chameleon and khameleon,depending on which version u played), not to mention motor kombat, which was a fun mini game, make armagedon the best 3-d mk game so far

MK2 gives me the most challange and is fun because of that, i like UMK3 and trilogy and deadly alliance,deception(can't forget deception) and armageddon.

i want to play MK1 and MK4 because i never played them.

UMK3 and Armageddon. Armageddon is best, though. Any game where you can make Chuck Norris and play as him is the s**t.

out of the 2D versions of Mortal Kombat i would have to say that MK3 was the best because that was the first MK to introduce the combo fighting system and made the story of MK deeper for characters. Best action game of Mortal Kombat is Shaolin Monks because it showed the events which took place between the 1st and 2nd tournament. the best 3D MK is MK: Armageddon because it has every single character that has been in a MK game (excluding Khameleon depending on gaming system)
