I have a question for Sagat! What happened to that eye of his?

Actually, Dan's father (I forget his name), gouged his eye out when he was fighting him, so Sagat killed Dan's father right in front of him, and so Dan wants revenge on Sagat. So Dan went to Gouken and wanted to train under him, but when Gouken learned Dan's motive, he kicked him out of his school.

You should have Cody from Street Fighter Alpha 3 come on the show. Either him, Guy, or Maki and ask them why they haven't been in any other Street Fighters other than SFA3.

Sagat: My eye...(At this, a low growl emanated from the man.). It was taken by the father of that fool, Dan. Unlike his idiot son, he was the only mere man that came close to defeating what is essentially a God on Earth when he struck a blow that took my eye. The fact that he isn't around to brag about that now should speak volumes. No one would dare cross me in such a ludicrous manner anymore.

At this, Sakura nods.

Sakura: I see, I see...but, what about Ryu? *He* defeated you, didn't he?

Sagat: I'm not beneath admitting a defeat, as rare an instance as that may be. Ryu? Ryu is no *mere* man. Have you seen the Satsui no Hadou? Honestly? Space/time warping and distortion? I'm sure that Crimson Viper knows not to rile that out of him anymore. That ******** 'Dark Hadou' made this man's walking movements turn into *shifting* movements, from point A to point B, instantly. He could even stop bullets in the air or block them outright. Neo does not approve.

Sagat: There's something that you seem to be forgetting, and that is the fact that we are fighting. There *will* be a lot of physicality. As the King, I have to show my dominance, not just as a fighter, but as a superior being. If I don't, all those who survey me and look up to me may lose faith in my ability. That aside, it's also to show these peons that they simply cannot do anything about whatever I may choose to do to inflict pain upon them.

Cody: (As he looks around to ensure that he isn't being followed.) Look, as far as Poison goes, if it was something that upset me, she probably wouldn't be around to even ask the question to begin with. It was a setback, sure, but I already got myself enough time with all the skulls I cracked to begin with. Good cause or no, assault and battery is the same. As far as what happened in Final Fight: Streetwise goes, I don't remember that happening. Nothing in that godawful game is considered canon, even by Capcom themselves. Who'd think a stiff fella like Guy would ever stray from the straight and narrow in ANY way? Come on, now.
