And make things just like they were in MVC2? I'd rather not encourage pro players to use the same 3 characters. With all these new additions I think they would intend for them to actually be used.
Magneto looks like MvC2 Mags lol. So I won't be surprised if he isn't changed all that much outside of hitbox and frame data.

MODOK is looking strong lol.

Was there any way around Magneto's infinite in MvC2?

Hi! I have no idea what I'm talking about!

Okay. Have fun with that.

Magneto's infinite was extremely difficult to perform. There were a number of effective traps that led into it, and because Magneto was so fast, the deadliest thing about him were the traps, not the infinite itself. Yes, there were ways around those traps, but you had to anticipate which trap the Magneto player would do before it happened or as it happened to counter it. The game moved faster than any fighting game I've ever seen before.

What really chaps my tushie, though, is that people say "I don't use characters with infinites in that game, they're cheap." Aside from the word "cheap" being a massive cop-out, somebody must not have given them the memo that every single character in that game has an infinite. Every. Single. One.

I see, I see. 3nodding I just don't use Magneto because there are other characters I prefer: my teams almost always have either Jill, Tron Bonne, and/or Gambit in it.

Magneto is really hard to use well. He's one of the hardest characters, execution-wise, that I've ever seen in a fighting game. I can't use him for beets. I mostly play Team Scrubclops(Cable/Sentinel/Cyclops), although I also play Cable/Sentinel/Captain Commando and Cammy/Storm/Tron Bonne.
I'm going to have MODOK's face in my head for weeks!

All I'm saying is that as long as there's still way to do it, difficult or not, it will still be abused. I was just sick of seeing everyone use it on the professional scene because I actually like watching fights, not just an infinate. It makes things more interesting and I'd like to see people take this game in a different direction. Also, you could just explain why I'm wrong insted of being so rude.
Me, I'd like to see some characters added to MvsC from a Capcom series that has been ignored entirely so far; Final Fight. I know a certain someone who would shriek with glee at the sky if Poison, Hugo, or our three heroes were confirmed for the third installment.

Mike Haggar all the way. If anything, Haggar deserves to have the spotlight from the Final Fight series after Guy and Cody's inclusion in SSF4. And since there are going to be less Street Fighter characters, I'm hoping he gets in over Zangief and would love to see what they do with him to make him different from Zangief. But he deffiently is the character I'm looking the most forward to.

Your complaint about infinites in MvC2 is the exact same as fans of MMA crying about ground fighting. Most uneducated fans will boo fighters that are fighting for position because of the lack of "action." True fans that understand and respect the sport know that what they're watching is a chess game and that at any moment, one bad pummel could result in a takedown or worse.

You're not being entertained because you're too busy looking at the surface. While you see people doing the same thing over and over, I see a crazy set-up that lead to the infinite, changes in the timing of the infinite as it's being performed to set up a reset, then finally a big reset that is going to end up leading to a dead character.

Infinites can also be escaped when a character "dizzies" out. After taking so many hits, your character will fly away and hit the ground, completely invincible the whole time.

Well I guess you're right. It's just when I think fighting games I think of more fast paced action. But you do have a point, so thanks for explaining.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 isn't fast-paced to you?
