I really do wonder who will be added besides Combot...5 or 6 new characters minimum and up to 22 new characters maximum. Somewhere between those numbers will most likely wind up being either comebacks, guest appearances, or even brand-new-from-scratch characters...who knows?

There are plenty of possibilities that PrinceHeir brought up in his reply to the article:

we can add other characters from the past games like:
