If you think it's only been for 10+ posts, you must not have even been lurking here long. We really need to make an image to post whenever someone pulls that argument since it's too tiresome to explain each time.
Also Dedede is an above-average character while Ike is more or less a trash one.

Well as far as i'm concerned,DeDeDe is the best character on the game.MetaKnight is hard to play with and yes Ike is garbage in comparison.

The only logical explanation behind the opinion that he's hard to play with, that I can think of, is that the player's play-style doesn't quite match up to Metaknight's strengths well enough to take full advantage of him...

Wow, I've played Brawl for a long time now and I haven't met someone who has ever taken King Dedede serious :O Really, they overlook him real bad XD But now that I think of it, yeah he is waaaay faster than Ike... Idk about his regular strength compared to Ike but he has a really nice B-side attack though :O

yeah i didn't notice him till i had to fight him in All-Star.he beat me and my bro four times in a row -.- so my bro started picking him (and i started playing with Game&Watch) and we whooped the s**t out of DeDeDe lmao (kirby and metaknight also got the a** kickin :] ).i think in strength,he is either a little less or equal to Ike...

Game & Watch too!? Oh wow! You really use really unorthodox characters brah! I'll try using them ._. They sound good :O I also know how to use Sonic really nice biggrin

A good try, but still wrong for the most part. Nearly any regular here can tell you that MK is easily one of the more if not most braindead character to use (not professionally but efficiently). It's as easy as Fair, Dair, tornado, Up-B, and Dsmash. Rinse and repeat. Maybe toss in some grabs for garnish.

yeah somehwhat.Metaknight is like Sonic to me.he's fast as hell,but it just seems to take forever to get someone's damage up :T

That's where you're right BUT that's where you fail at the same time.If you haven't noticed in ANY of the SMash Bros games,doing the same moves and combos gets you killed.it's easy to predict what people are gonna do with Metaknight because 99% of the people i've fought online who picked metakinght kept doing his B moves over.and over.and over.and.over.same with Sonic.same with pikachu.B moves.B moves.B moves.

yup.i was kinda tired of using Samus,Link,Falcon,and the regulars over and over so i tried out Game&Watch and BAM! new best character biggrin but Falco and Marth...They got ******** over in the transition to brawl :[ i just can't play with them like i used to in melee...

oh and another thing.If Metaknight was the easiest character to play with,I'd see a lot more of them online,but quite frankly,besides Yoshi,Ganondorf,Game&Watch,and Ice Climbers,i dont see many people playing with MetaKnight...

Go to a tournament and you'll see one Ganon or Yoshi at the most and about 70-80% MK.

MK was banned from tourneys for a few months, but the committee that decided that dissolved, so now the ban is pretty much lifted. Even when he was banned it was mostly still up to the tourney organizer whether or not to ban him, so it was only half-enforced. Not like there's a Brawl police anyway. That'd be a terrible idea.
