Rockwarrior ******** Namco, ******** Bandai, ******** Project Soul ******** everyone who made SCV.
Seriously I am pretty sure I am not the only guy pissed about this but here are my points
1) Got rid of half the roster along with that Zasalamel, Cassandra and Talim. Talim will be older but still young enough to fight and Zasalamel is Immortal. Okay you can claim Talim is a wind peistess and cannot journey anymore but Zasalamel is ******** IMMORTAL.
2) The characters I am good with form the other game Is Cervantes... only guy still there (Since Cassandra And Zasalamel are gone) and then to add to that you ******** up his moveset so he doesn't even feel like the same character anymore. SO really Cervantes is gone as well.
3) Here is the real kicker... WHY THE ******** IS DAMPIERRE AVAILABLE NOW? SERIOSLY WHAT THE ********? What is the damn point of pre-ordering of pre-ordering if they change their minds and say you have to pre-order form one store in particular a month before release, and what is the ******** point of changing your order to that store if they release him as DLC later anyway.
So until they give me Zasalamel's style As DLC I will emain PISSED.

As annoyed as I was that my main from the Soul series (a veteran since Blade) was not going to be in it, nothing can compare to the fact that the game is just outright the best quality of any of them. It lacks some things, but any of those can be fixed in DLC... and in the end, the game plays better than even SC2.
But if it bothers you that much... why not just play the previous games? I understand being let down by the new game not including everything you wanted, but that doesn't mean there's a reason to get pissy over it. And odds are Zasalamel -WILL- be in the game, seeing as how they directly reference him.
Not to mention, like my main, Cassandra was replaced by a similarly performing character, so if you like Cassandra you'll probably like Patroklos. Worst comes to worst, just use the game's amazing character creation to recreate Cassandra using his style.[/center:qcvg06

Patrokolos I actually suck with. I am better with Omega Pyrrah.
Zasalamel in the game would be loved.
and yea I have an 80 gig PS3 so i do not have backwards comparability so really as far back as I can go is SC4... do i really want to go back there? (Kinda do. still have to finish Tower)
I've honestly loved all the Sword & Shield styles in the newest game... more than any in previous games, and I'm a dedicated Sophitia veteran. I actually prefer Pyrrha's style to Sophitia's, and that says a lot.
As for Zasalamel... one of the Tower arenas in Soulcalibur V shows several large statues of character styles around it, and the only one in there that I saw that WASN'T playable in SCV was Zasalamel's. That seems to me they're implying they plan for him to return.
And as for going back to older games... I can understand not wanting to go back to SCIV. I thought it was absolute garbage, but if it was my only option to play as a character I really wanted to play... I'd probably do it, anyhow.
