Well I just figure... very few characters are left-handed, and removing the weapon from the silhouette will not make up for that fairly strong identificaiton. So it makes me figure that if they did one of these silhouettes with Raphael, they would basically have to flip it. Otherwise, they just give away the surprise.

Yeah, not really digging all these Replacement characters. They might as well just make a new fighting series if they are going to do this.

Kinda like what they did with Blazblue essentially just being Guilty Gear with "replacement" characters.

As far as more updates are concerned...just read this up via the SC Wiki:

Daishi is in talks with Square Enix to have Final Fantasy characters enter the fray for SCV. If so, this will be their first foray into the SC world.

Remember how the weapons would break in "Soul Edge" ? Well, that feature appears to be coming back for SCV.

Remember how the weapons would break in "Soul Edge" ? Well, that feature appears to be coming back for SCV.

Stuff from the wiki isn't all that new, but yeah, I was a little excited to hear about FF characters being in. They fit a whole lot better than SW characters. And the thing about breaking weapons...huh, I'm interested in seeing how that would actually work. How did it work in SE?

Algol? Ew. Broken. I hated his design.

Also, the broken weapon thing is very very interesting. I'd like to see the unarmed movesets. I'll look up a video on youtube.
