you put on a head piece that is literally off the head of the character,
and place it nicely so that it's normal looking on the head?
The piece I want to use is floating, and I want to move it down do it fits properly.
How do you accomplish that?

click the object again and it should say adjust the item, choose adjust by Axis and there should be a list including vertical, horizontal, and different various rotations to make it fit to your liking.
