A little bit older and on the Playstation 2, King of Fighters XI has a huge cast of playable characters. I enjoyed most of the King of Fighters games on Playsation 2/Playstation.

But the newer King of Fighters (XII, XIII isn't available yet), not so good. And avoid King of Fighters: Maximum Impact at all costs.

Also Guilty Gear. It is the weirdest game you will ever play...

But if you want a newer game to get into, BlazBlue. BlazBlue is sort of the spiritual successor of Guilty Gear, and almost as weird.

it all depends on what type of fighting you like like tekken is awesome but the gay part is that theres alot of ppl that jugle and then like ssf4 is to much of the sma moves over again and well mvc3 thats just way to easy to play and i havent tryed blazeblue but i heard its awesome and d.o.a that games way toooooo easy or you mite like wwe its wrestling but someppl like it

If you're looking for a game that will never get boring, always makes you think, and has more players than almost any other game, go World of Warcraft. You have to pay monthly but they always update the game and add patches so its like new things are unlocked in the game monthly. Its almost like a new game each month.
