how the hell is bloody roar obscure?

also i so wish thrill kill was made into a full game it was so amazingly wrong

The only good Bloody Roar games was the fist three. Primal Fury and 4 don't exist to me.

No one remembers Battle Arena Toshinden? Or Psychic Force 2010/2012?

toshinden was relatively well known during its time though, its more forgotten than obscure imo

I also thought it looked epic for it's time in the day. I remember a DOS fighter that came out in the era of Mortal Kombat. Then there is a Data East fighter called "Tattoo Assassins".

Not really. Like you said, it's an oft-referenced game, and it's based on a popular, long-running comic series.
