So Martian Manhunter's out and he's cool and all, but who's the next character going to be?

As some of you may know, a while back, some popular, spot on hacker dude got into the files and found these codes.

Naturally I would think that meant

Martian Manhunter
Red Hood (Jason Todd)
Powergirl

and I thought Sub Zero.

But Ed Boon has mentioned that there are no more guest characters, so after some research with a friend, it could stand for

Sorceress Zatanna.

So we've been getting clues as to who the next character may be. Ed said it's a BIG fan favorite. In a poll held by Boon, Zatanna and Red Hood both scored highly, without their scores revealed.

The first clue was The cars, along with a weird "The more you know" NBC slogan.

The second was upside down, with the video again.

Zatanna: Flipping cars upside down is easily something she could do if she knows enough magic.

Red Hood: If a car is upside down, you see under the hood... And as far as knowing more, Jason knows who Batman is...


The last clue was a weird Funhouse pinball machine theme song or something.

Zatanna: Funhouse had a puppet and seemed like it could be a magic show.

Red Hood: In Arkham City you can visit Joker's fun house. Who was the Joker before he was the Joker? He was called Red Hood.

"The Cars" did a song called "Magic", and Upside-Down could easily translate to "backwards" due to 'reverse'. Zatanna is a magician who speaks her spell incantations backwards.

And Red Hood would be another Batman character. I really doubt they'd go that route, though it's possible.

But the character roster currently has Scorpion on the Heroes side, which... isn't very logical. Like Lobo, it's likely he's only on the Heroes side because when it's uneven the Heroes -always- have more. He'll likely be switched to Villains, and Zatanna will add to Heroes.

Upside down are the lyrics for a Miller Band(?) song called Magic.

So forth and so on.

The next character is definitely Zatanna, it's been confirmed.

Still, don't be surprised to see Red Hood and Powergirl.

This hacker guy has been spot on! I'm willing to bet money that Red Hood and Powergirl round out the second set of characters. And I don't know if there will be a third. Though I hope there is.

Scorpion will probably get moved over when powergirl, and zatanna land on hero spots. And then be joined by red hood in the villians side.
