I honestly don't like it all that much. I love the graphics, the character creator, and the story mode is great but the fighting on it it's so... Lacking.

I'm a huge fan of the Tenkaichi series and DBZ is my favorite anime but... Really?
The fighting in this game seems more like it's mostly just a bunch of Quicktime events and not really fighting at all as opposed to the rest of the games in the series where it was mostly action with a few Quicktime parts. IT's an alright system but they focused a little too much on the Quicktime aspects.

That's my opinion. What's yours?

I haven't played it yet so I can't really give an opinion. Being a DBZ fan and a lover of the old PS2 Tenkaichi games I'm willing to give it a try. Mostly for the character creation, though. >>;

Look up some gameplay on it. It's ridiculous.
Quicktime segments are okay for special moves and ultimates but not when they're for even the most minor of things.
in my opinion i think it's one of the best DBZ games they have made yet. I'm a huge fan of the DBZ series.I love the character creator and how you can use super attacks and ultimate attacks from other characters. Also i like the boss battles and the button mashes.

I do too but I don't like how there's WAAAY too many Quicktime events on it. :T
I love the Tenkaichi series as much as the next guy but I can't stand having the battle stopped every 15 seconds for a quicktime event.
Tenkaichi 3 is still, in my opinion, the best in the series.

that games is seriously bullshit. theres to many pauses and they made it look so easy. the game is mostly based on luck than on skill.

raging blast 2 is the best dbz game i ever played, except for the stupid a** spammers.

Try Budokai Tenkaichi 3
I don't HATE the Raging Blast ones but I can't seem to like them. I'll play them and have fun, sure, but if i had to pick, I'd definitely got with BT3.
In my opinion, here's how it goes.
1.Budokai Tenkaichi Series (except Ultimate cuz it sucks a**!)
2.Raging Blast Series (It's alright but not my fave by far.)
3.Budokai Series (I like the 2d-ish style.)
4.Supersonic Warriors (The DS one mainly.)
and
5.Legacy of Goku series on the GBA (I still play these.)

i don't really like the tenkaichi series since theres hella stuffs to learn. but its awesome that they dumb it down when making raging blast 1 and 2 smile . legacy goku 1 is bullshit, legacy of goku 2 is pretty good, buus fury is just easy. budokai is a great dbz 2-D game. and i never heard of a dbz game called supersonic warriors o.o.

thats my idea on all of the games you picked, sephy

I understand.
The Supersonic Warriors is like a 2-D Tenkaichi.
I love the Tenkaichi series very much (except Ultimate, ugh) and i'm pretty good a it.
Legacy of Goku 1 sucked a** but it gave way to it's sequels which were pretty good overall and I like Budokai but it's too slow for my taste :3
I enjoyed playing Ultimate Tenkaichi, but I do think that the game is way too easy. It was brought down to a really low, basic level and that disappointed me. What it did right was the graphics and story mode. Those were really impressive, I thought. And it captured a lot of the Action we love from the Anime Series.

I never was able to take DBZ fighting games seriously since most of their moves could be spammed, exploted, or simply not take much skill to use. But that's one of the beauties of it. Turn your fighting brain off for a bit and just go apeshit.

My personal favorite was Budokai 3. It requires a lot of timing to be really effective in that game and actually felt like a fighting game. Teleports were easier, too, which I explotied the hell out of. xD They tried to make the Budokai series more of a true fighting game with Infinate World, but for some reason it wasn't quite there. It didn't sell well, either.

I can't stand the game. The battle mechanics are way too simplified and basically all of the characters are the same (their supers and ki blasts make them different, but they can be easily mastered). It's more like a game of rock paper scissors and there's no skill involved, aside of draining your opponent's ki or increase your own ki. I will admit, however, that character creation kept me busy for awhile.

The only way I'd see this game being challenging is by playing mind games with your opponent, but that's about it. I got my Platinum for the game and I exchanged it back for store credit. I'd prefer playing the Raging Blast series or Budokai 3 any day.
