I know I posted about this before but, How do I get my hair all volumeized/fluffy like this? I have stupid baby thin hair and I fucking hate it so damn much. It's ruining my looks. I just don't know what to do.. I pretty much have the same hairstyle as her, but my hair is.. flat.. in the mornings when I style my hair, it take about 40 minutes, it looks good, but when I get to school, it's super flat and sticky from the hairspray and gross and looks like it's wet.. I just don't know what to do..
Here's her picture.

I have the exact same problem as you. It quite sucks. D:
I'm not sure if there's any way you can keep it volumized throughout the whole day. It's especially impossible with longer hair. I think with baby thin hair like hours, it has to be shoulder length or shorter to be able to pump it up at all.

how short are your top layers?

you could round brush it (not the ends, otherwise they will curl, just the roots).. but most people cant do that themselves. cos of the reaching behind your head part.

even if you dont want it super big, the principles are still the same.

also this stuff is genius

big sexy hair: what a tease - very hardcore stuff, use it instead of teasing hair, NOT in addition to.. this stuff is like a super hair spray...starting from the bottom of the head, lift a layer of hair up, spray it (from far away) on the underside of the piece, let it dry while you keep it held up (takes like 20 seconds) then let it lay down. repeat until you do the whole head (or area you want done), except for the very very top.

lush: the big tease - kind of a pomade you would put some evenly distributed on your fingers and put at the root area.

have you tried volumising shampoos? they wont solve everything, but they help your hair not be weighed down...for example if you use a thick or waxy shamp/conditioner like pantene, it will just weigh your hair down and you'll be flatter than ever. but vol-shampoos are made to be light.

hope that helps!

So, I'm in need of a hair change pretty soon. AND I NEED YOUR HELP.

The thing is, I want something new. I want something maybe even a bit crazy. I already have pretty short hair. It just barely touches my shoulders. Anything long, or even medium, won't really work for me.

I've been looking for quite some time, but haven't found anything that just hit me and made me think, "Wow! I want that!"

I have a round face and thick hair. Not beastly thick, but pretty thick.

I would love suggestions for styles, but color suggestions would be cool, too. Currently I have a light brown. Naturally blonde. I'm open to any color. I have pale skin so pretty much any color works for me. I'm also open to almost any cut. But my ears stick out a little farther than I would like so nothing that reveals them TOO much. I could be imagining how big they are, though. Haha.

Pictures and/or links would be simply marvelous.

If there's anything else you need to know, please ask. =]

Thank yooou.<333

one - two - three -four...??

lol, any of those close?

Since my hair is thick, it would be really hard to get the first one to work. Plus my hair isn't that smooth texture. It's a bit coarse. Anyway to fix that? Plain old straightening does not help much at all. But the style is really, really cute!

I would DIE to have the second one, but my ears are a bit too large for that. I think. And again with the thickness. I find it hard to style and I think it would be hard to keep up like that. Maybe I just need to be trained in styling my hair. D:

The third one is really, really cute. Would that be a clear enough picture of the cut to show a stylist? Since it's only a side view. I'm considering this. But again the styling at home. Oh it gets me everytime.

I really like the last one. But this one has the ear problem. Awcrap. =[

re: third one
this is the best kind of picture to show a stylist! heart heart ! theres a clear profile view, and unless you want it asymmetrical, its the same on both sides so you only need one. it also allows us to see the back.

re: the first one
you'd be surprised how much of a difference texturizing/thinning can make! that girl has thin hair but i feel the cut would look better on thicker hair, also her hair has been volumed up a little to minimize thinness.

re: fourth
true, but if you liked it better than the third one you could always tell them your ear concerns... plus i think some of her hair has been put behind her ears.

another ?

@the third one: It's super cute. I'm considering it now that I know it's a good picture.<3 I'm a little worried about the bangs. I don't know if a straight across bang would work on me. I guess I'll have to ask the stylist. Oh, that and styling it that way.

@ the first one: I've had my hair razored before. Maybe he just didn't take a lot out but it didn't seem to make too much of a difference. Also, I don't think my hair could look like that because of my hair texture. I don't know of anything I can do about that.

@ the fourth one: Now that I look at it I do see the hair behind the ears thing. So maybe I could still get it.

I still kind of want something crazy. I think I'll crazy it up with color. 'Cause it seems all the really crazy cuts show your ears. =[

Oh, and that last picture...I feel like it's like my current cut, just styled different. Maybe I'm wrong. I really am hair retarded.

crazy it up with colour!

you could always bring several cut pictures and ask them about which would be best or talk about parts you like and dislike about both... it doesnt have to be an exact picture of what you want it to turn out like.
