im a junior in college getting a bachelors in english literature. i also write a lot of fic that have been moderately popular
do you think people would want to pay 1000 g for a thourough edit/explaination of their unbetad fic?
this is kinda just the feeler stage if i set up a shop itd be snazzy and have my real creds and stuff

Not meaning to be rude, or anything. But how can you expect people to agree to pay you to edit your stories when you don't even capitalize the beginning of your sentences and leave out your apostrophes?

because im on my phone and thats a hassle
i can use grammar and capitalization when i want to
this is a scouting thread to see if the environment is ideal and people are receptive to the idea not an official shop

May be a bit late on this...

With the amount of people who do Beta-Reading for free, I doubt that it would be very successful. Sure, you'll get some business out of it but you'll be in constant competition with good Betas who will do it for free (like myself) with just as good of credentials / experience.

Good luck, though, if you decide to make the shop.
