What fandoms do you follow?

I'm an Internet vet of over fifteen years and have been writing fan fiction for at least as long, so I'm definitely no newcomer to the ficdom realm. That may be part of my problem, in fact. All the great sites, like CFAN (any one remember that one besides my beloved Jack and I?), seem to be dying out, and FFN and LJ only offer so much. I've nearly been pulling my hair out in seeking a new, active fan fic base. I subscribed here ages ago, so I thought I'd try it out. There doesn't seem to be much call for my main fandoms here, however, like the X-Men comics and related teams, Charmed, Angel, Disney, and Magnificent Seven. Can any one recommend any sites that welcome fan fic and wherein these fandoms are popular? What kind of fandoms do you all like? Maybe one of my smaller fandoms would be of interest to others here . . .

I won't be able to help you with any sites, sorry. I mostly drift between Gaia, FFN, and tumblr.

But lately I've been easing into the Avengers fandom. I'm also a part of the Assassin's Creed, Supernatural, and BBC Sherlock fandoms.

Thanks, but I think I fixed my problem. Made a new forum, welcoming all fandoms/pairings/ratings/etc. It's slow starting but seems to have some promise.

My fandoms are mainly in the anime section, like: Fairy Tail, One Piece, Soul Eater, Sailor Moon. But I also write for Transformers and maybe I'll write for X-men Evolution as well. ^^

I appreciate all the thoughts/recommendations. I actually ended up creating my own, and although we're starting slow, I have a good feeling about this one. We welcome all fandoms, pairings, and ratings, have monthly starring couples, weekly challenges, the occasional games, and ways to earn rewards. If any one's interested, and you're of legal age in your country of residence (as we do, as stated above, welcome all ratings), please feel free to drop me a message. I'm sure there's some way to do that, although I've not found it quite yet, on this site; practically every site has one.

I'm into around 50, or at least 50, fandoms myself, so quite too many to list here. You could check out PiratesSparrowandTurner at FFN, if you're really interested.

I may not have found my ficcing answer here, but I've definitely found a new game I enjoy that actually has me coming semi-regularly to this site when the time I posted this original message wa the first time in around 3 years I'd been on here. It actually me gaming again, so that's definitely a good thing. smile

A rather large one actually I read crossovers (woot), but I first started following Sailor Moon in 2002. This evolved to Harry Potter, Inu Yasha, eventually and most Recently Naruto. Then there are all the non-anime things that are rolling around out there like Torchwood, Doctor Who, Star Gate SG1/Atlantis and Star Trek (yes, I do ship Spock and Kirk.) There is Supernatural and Ghost hunt....and I'm sure I'm leave out a wide variety of names because I would stretch the page horrible listing ever fandom I read about.
