The first one I posted online was probably for Naruto. Before that, I don't really remember anything I've written. But I was so eager to get it published for people to read that I rushed the ending quite a bit; it was commented on by quite a few people since I asked for critic and tips to improve.

A lot of my first fanfiction were me trying to write about things I knew nothing about because I wanted people to like my stories, so a lot of them were probably really dumb. I'm not going to go back and read them to find out. But I don't regret writing or posting any of them, because I feel like they provided some useful learning experience no matter how stupid they may have been.

I was probably around thirteen when I wrote it? I was a stupid thirteen year old. :/

I refuse to talk about it. I'm just that ashamed.

This. Dx
I'm writing my first one now, sadly. But man, if I had a horrible one from years ago I'd probably re-read it for shits and giggles; I'm just that sort of person.

Mine... it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I'd say in the middle, though it's slightly leaning to the "eh..." side. XD
I still have it up on FF.net and yes the tenses and grammars were all a bit fu*ked up and I could have went a long way with paragraph breaks but I'm still proud of it since it's the first semi-s**t I ever came up with .. and it was a Twilight fic (that part I'm not too proud of) gonk gonk

I remember my first fanfic like it was yesterday (nah, not really). Naruto-fanfic about Sasori's childhood, I think I still have it somewhere on my old DA-account. Yeah, the grammar was horrible considering english is not my first language and I wrote it eons ago. Still, I think the story was pretty sweet, but I wouldn't go back to it though even if I could since I don't like Naruto enough to write about it, at least not anymore.

-looks dreamily into the distance-
Ah...my first f***ed up fanfiction....wonder which one it could have been...hmm...Oh! I know, I know!
Probably some time around fifth...maybe fourth grade. (I was an early otaku-bloomer =u=)
It wasn't really one story; more like a series of stories. I even remember the beautiful, melodic title:
'random stories i made up because i was friggin bored!'
-facedesk- Yeah....as the name above states, I didn't even know what I was thinking when I did that.
It's still on my Quizilla account...you know, I joined back when it was a site about writing stories. Like, the first chapter...-shudder-
You know what, I'll just post a little tidbit of it, because I can't describe in words how absolutely horrific my first fic is. WARNING: You might think you know what randomness is, but you don't, if you haven't read this yet:
"Hishi was poking the couch, Saku was licking the wall incase a lizard jumped out, and Youru was having a staring contest with the wall. "Puffy nuts and penny whistles!" Deidara flapped his wings and flew out the window with Saku's wall-lizard. The wall-lizard was named Yaoi. Yaoi was a happy wall-lizard."
....
Yes, please, just stare at the computer screen and wonder how the hell something like this would ever come out of a living person's mind. Please...please do. Because I don't have the answer...
BTW...
This wasn't really that long ago.
I'm now in seventh grade. But at least now I know that lizards don't materialize out of walls being licked by Mary-Sues. And...I would like to apologize for burning you guys' eyes.....
Thank you for letting me vent my idiocy.

Honestly? The first fanfic I ever wrote (It was a Zoids fanfic) had a good story and plot, and was actually well done as far as flow, character development, etc. are concerned. What I'd be ashamed of is some of the spelling, body, etc. I used at the time. XD See, I'd JUST gotten my first computer and was just learning typing, Wordpad, etc. The issue was more of a transition from what I'll call 'Pen and Paper Etiquette' and 'Typing Etiquette'.
A CCS fanfic, Change of Luck. Well, ain't that bad, I suppose, just that if I were to describe it, it'd be a naive little girl. xd

Think I've improved tho~ ^^
...I--I like not to think back that far. What I wrote was just...just...no.
Death Note. OC x L pairing. Very cheesy. Totally unrealistic. Just no.
the Naruto fanfics that followed suit were no better. /hides under rock/

I still have my very first fanfiction, a Naruto one, stashed somewhere in my room. God, it's so short at only three pages, many things wrong, some of the characters are out of character, run-on paragraphs (if those even exist), the list goes on. Even the title is lame. Nowadays, I carefully think out the plot before typing my fanfictions, and I keep them at five pages exactly. I still have the occasional "writer's block fanfic" where I type whatever comes comes to mind, though.
