So, technically speaking, A History of Violence is my third project, not second.

Wow, it's really good for being only the third fanfic you've written. I remember my third attempt. It was a bunch of clichéed poems for Lord of the Rings that I wanted to try to write in elvish haha. Certainly nothing as complex as an epic-length fic!

I've never tried my hand at poems, but I know I'm terrible at them (because I had to do some poems for class). XP
I'm to perky to write poetry. XD

Ahh so much fun to start a new fic...but so annoying knowing there are still so many to finish and so many to start xd hehe whats everyone else working on?

I know exactly how you feel. *looks at her own pile of ongoing fics*
Oh, the remorse! Oh, the guilt!... but it's much too fun to indulge the muses to resist...

Most anything before puberty, and a lot of stuff during puberty is just not worth saving.I deleted most of the stuff I wrote before age 18 (I'm 19 now if anyone cares to know). I was so embarrassed reading all the stuff I wrote during puberty XD. I am so glad I never had the gull to publish half the crap I wrote. Some of it was okay, but most of it was hormonal teenage angst crap. XD

I thankfully only ever wrote one of such fics (I was much too interested in action to care about sappy emotional stuff), but published it online (I was so naïve). Years later, I found out that it had been added to a C2 (for those who don't know, that's a list of stories that are all related to a certain theme on FFN) entitled: "The worst of the worst". I laughed so hard... lol. XD

lol yes yes we must indulge our muses 3nodding ...sadly xd

as for thinks written before "common sense" I wrote my first story (never even closed to finished) in middle school...yep...wasn't even close to the time of logical thought hehe...but my first real story that I actually finished was Remembering You[HP] (well technically it was Minutes[HP] but thats a 800 word songfic so razz )...Their Last Years[HP] was started long before but its a novel so yeah its not even close to finished xd

The one I started in middle school eventually became the background for my huge original piece called Ascension Cepheids though so I won't complain biggrin

Oh lol!!

    They're golden tasty,
    But milk makes them pasty!

Was it something along those lines, maybe? xd

Poetry isn't my thing either, but at the time, I had been reading a lot of poems for school. Pessoa, Cesário Verde, Sophia de Mello Breyner... ugh, I'm so thankful those days are over. Prose for me, thank you very much! (Though, now that I think of it, the only poems I ever came to enjoy were those we hashed to pieces during lessons...)

I just don't like poetry. I never really have, probably because I am the type of person who wants to make an investment in what I read, and I can't do that in poetry. Of course there are some poems that I really like, but in retrospect very few poems ever make an impact on me.

Poetry is hard to get into, that's why I prefer prose too. I appreciate it's transparency. Scrutinizing every word for hidden meanings is not something that comes naturally for me.

Sorry, I don't know that show, but I'd be happy to offer concrit if you like. What's the show about?

that would be lovely smile and here is the wiki page for the show... its basically an anthro show (animals with human characteristics) with the characters from The Jungle Book...minus the human ones of course xd

this story deals with Shere Khan and my perfectionist OC named Aslynn...among other things lol I only just started working on it though and as such, only have like 2000 words down on the first part of three... I think each will be around 5000 or so but you never know whee

here is the break down of the story right now: (none of this will be set in stone until it is finished though hehe)

Title: Enterprise
Chapters: 3 Parts
Part One: Key Assets
Part Two: debating still...it will be something like Find Funding or Determine Your Audience (a business thing hehe)
Part Three: Establish a Brand
Rating: Between 15+ and M
Genres: Drama
Warnings: Strong Violence, Sensitive Topic, Scenes of a Sexual Nature...mild language?
Characters: Aslynn, Shere Khan, Don Karnage, Baloo, Kit, Becky, Molly.... a ton of other characters from the show and another minor OC
Pairings: Shere Khan/Aslynn (eventually xd ), Karnage/Aslynn (sort of one sided...hard to say anything without giving away plot points hehe)
Summary: (totally need to work on this part xd )
Shere Khan is a business savvy powerhouse. Aslynn Briggs is a perfectionist in ever aspect of her life. Khan hires her to bring in clients he could never reach, but he never expected that she would reach him.

(totally sappy lovey-dovey story right? ... twisted )

Notes:
This is definitly going to be more "grown up" than the show since it was a kids show hehe and since The Jungle Book and the shows Pilot were filled with Disney-esque musical numbers, part of the plot is focused around music biggrin

btw...anyones input on this is heart 3nodding
Oh, sounds interesting! I won't ask you to read mine, because I already know you don't like Naruto, but I'd totally love to read that story when it's done. ^^

ficlets are not the same as huge "need to know canon" stories so I am fine with your stories hehe besides I couldn't let you get away without a review razz as for when its done...I may just have the first part done in a week or so lol...depending on how much I work this coming week smile cause I am already pretty much done with 2/3 of it (the first part I mean hehe)

Fandom: Harry Potter
Summary: Peter Pettigrew had everything he could have wanted. A woman he loved, a job, and a place in the new revolution. Everything changed when the woman he loved followed her dreams for the man she loved.
Genre and eventual pairings: Romance/Drama. The pairings are OC/Peter, James/Lily, And Later OC/Sirius
Warnings: Rated PG-13 for OC's potty mouth
Notes on any aspects you're interested in receiving feedback about and/or anything else you feel is pertinent: I'd like to know if my characters are well devloped
Brief excerpt of the story:

Peter sighed, waiting nervously at King’s cross. His girlfriend of almost one year was coming back from Hogwarts for Christmas. She had accepted his offer to spend Christmas with him and he could imagine their Christmas already, just the two of them. At nineteen, he was sure that Iris was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. She was everything he ever wanted, beauty, intelligence, humor. She didn’t even mind his akwardness.

His thoughts were cut off by the train coming in. His hand tightened over the flowers he bought for her. The ring in his pocket burned. He watched the line of people filtering out. Peter watched as students ran to their parents and guardians.
