Anyway, I have something I'd like critiqued... I hope they don't have to be finished, because this is just the first chapter, though I suppose it could work as a oneshot as well... So I'm just going to post.

Brief excerpt of the story: Their plea fell on deaf ears. For now, the monstrosity known as Sovereign was occupied with matters other than tearing apart the wills of the indoctrinated. It advanced with cold, tactical precision, forming a path of devastation as it did. This, it knew, was the hour of triumph; the organics would fall, and ultimately the Reapers would stand victorious over the bodies left behind. It was a truth that could not- would not- be denied. Saren knew this as well, but still couldn’t help but relish the few moments of inner silence this granted him.
Fandoms and genres you're willing to read for in return: I'll read just about anything; I'm big on reading summaries of fandoms I don't know, then reading the fanfics. I would like not to read anything Twilight... But I know a bucketload of anime fandoms, and I'm a prolific sci-fi, horror, and action video gamer, so in those areas I'll probably know about the fandom already, without having to read a summary. I've read the Anne Rice books, as well as virtually everything by Stephen King, but I don't know many TV series except for House, Bones, and CSI.

Oh, I don't know why I'm nervous, really. I get freaked out with these things sometimes... I'm not very used to Gaia, so I don't have much of an idea about anything. Like, on Neopets (thank God I don't go there anymore) everyone seems to want to pick fights, and on Subeta they're either very generous and stupid or smart and mean. I've no idea what to think of this place yet...

eh gaia is a mixing pot...you can find everything here from really idiotic people to really smart ones, totally generous to snobby elitist but a lot are somewhere in the middle so don't let it bring you down if you run into a few bad apples 3nodding I have met quite a few people on here that I think are really great, like Milila and Cyn and Kaida biggrin

I feel that way all the time. I want to do something, but I don't feel like doing it. Then there's something I should be doing (which is writing that science report for me... >< wink that I don't feel like doing at all. XP Never ending cycle of laziness for me.
