...Was it really that long?

lol that has been news for like...half a year now xd and no its not long but they wanted to fit everything in and cover all the ends since its the last book and the last movie.

They have to make sure that the people who didn't read the books still understand everything and the last book is pretty technical in a "you have to read the books to understand" way.

lol yep, as far as I know they are splitting it at Dobby's death and part one comes out November 2010 with part two in July 2011.

yeah they filmed that part already and the epilogue...so they got both of the movies ends done first lol probably because it required the most people and concern xd

I actually just got into an argument about that lol someone was all talking about how people only read fanfiction if the characters are stunningly beautiful and as a total escape from reality and I was like....umm no. That would probably turn away every single fanfic reader I know lol

True, you want some escape from reality, but at the same time you want to keep some intelligence and not barf your brains out every other sentence because the MC can't stop mary-sueing it to the max. I never imagine characters how the author describes them anyway, e.g. always imagined Edward Cullen to look like Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Cullen in the movies
