I think it depends on the type of fanfic, I'm working on a HP/Twilight slash xover and I haven't had any abuse for it mainly because I'm treating it as a serious piece of writing (and have ironed out any plotholes).

Also, Twilight fanfiction is notorious for either being full of Mary-Sues or turning the female charas into them and having poor quality of writing.

If yours is halfway decent at least, it'll earn its rightful place smile

Slash isn't really my thing, but if the story's well done I can read my way around it. ^^

I haven't played all the Final Fantasy's either. Only 4, 7, 8 and 10. They're fun games and the stories are usually interesting (well, not so much on 4, but there's no resisting the quirky (?) music on that one, lol). Crisis Core was so much fun, actually, that I almost failed a couple of exams because of those optional missions... (I can have a bit of a one-track mind... sweatdrop whee )

Final Fantasy IV - I only played the enhanced GBA remake of it, not the DS version. I had playing it while it lasted.
Final Fantasy VII - My first Final Fantasy game. I had A LOT of fun playing this game, especially speed-running to see how far I can get in one day when I only had the first disk and no memory card. Then I bought the 3 disks and a memory card in Mexico, of all places for 200 pesos. :D
Final Fantasy VIII - God I hated this game so much. xD;; I just didn't like any part of it. The graphics didn't impress me either at the time. I still liked VII so much more.
Final Fantasy X - Disliked the storyline with a passion, but truly loved the gaming experience. Definitely one of my favorites based on gameplay alone.
Final fantasy X-2 - I liked playing it, but I also hated this storyline, too.
Final Fantasy XI - This was a GREAT MMO. I truly enjoyed playing this game, though the game was impossible to keep playing through without joining other to play with.
Final Fantasy XII - Truly the greatest Final Fantasy so far. It's politically powered storyline and revamped battle system made this game a powerful experience for me. I put in 1000+ hours playing in different ways. Basic, solo, class, you name it. Favorite, favorite, favorite. :D

I like working with the twilight characters. They weren't very developed in the book so they are very easy to work with. When I write them, they develop in to interesting individuals.

Hehe, it was the opposite for me. I liked the storyline, but not so much the gameplay. The fights were generally too easy and it felt like you spent half the game just walking from one place to another... Still, it's an excellent game, no doubt about it. 3nodding
