As far as I know, there isn't just one rule for that, but I could be mistaken. Some say there should be a space, others that it isn't required. Some say that the right way to write it is with spaces between the dots... It's a very confusing punctuation mark.

Yes yes, I agree! That they're confusing. Not that they should disappear, because I rather like them (even if noob writers use them WAY too much sometimes... stressed ). They're just so... multi-functional, hehe!

But since we're talking about English, I have a completely unrelated question of my own! Do you know that pain you get on the side of the abdomen after you've been exercising for a while without breathing properly? Do you have a particular name for it...?
