What Could Have Happened

I turn towards Jacob after taking off my seat belt. His gaze caught mine and my heart swelled slightly. My hand slid into his slowly and he pulled me closer with his other arm. Like always he seemed to be able to read my mind. He lifted our hands and brushed the back of his fingers across my cheek. At the hot touch my cheeks grew red slightly. "Jacob..." I whispered softly. "Bella..." he whispered back with a light smile. He leaned his head down and his lips pressed down against mine. My free hand lifted up to his cheek as my head tilted back and my lips pressed back against his. As our lips meshed together and my heart started to beat faster I could feel that possibly I could be with Jacob. He had healed me through this far.

My face is bright with joy as I giggle and run up behind Jacob. I pounce onto his back and growl playfully as I try to wrestle my keys from him. "No" he growls back. He slings me from his back easily and I fall onto my back onto the bed. I continue to giggle but sit up quickly, needing my keys. "Come on Jake" I say. He smiles and pounces on top of me, bouncing the bed. "Where we going?" he asked playfully. I roll my eyes and shove at his chest, "Jacob I have to get back home" I whine. He just continues to smile and shakes his head, "Charlie will understand." he says and tosses my keys onto his bedside table when I try to reach for them. I squirm underneath him and he looks into my eyes. My cheeks heat up and I bite my lower lip. We haven't talked about that kiss after he dropped me off at home. "I love you Bella" he said softly and I thought my heart was going to explode. Tears welled up in my eyes and I tucked my face into his neck as he lowered his head down into mine. I hugged him tightly for a moment and then nuzzled him softly, "I love you too Jacob." I whisper.

When I get back home and start on dinner Charlie is there a few minutes after me. He gives me this smile...as if he knows, but I simply smile to myself and continue cooking.

(FYI she already knows what he is and everything, but she never jump off the cliff)

I've always wanted to know what would have happened if she didn't jump off the cliff whee Good job!

Even though I don't like Twilight, I'd say this was a good post. You are very articulate as a writer and have brevity. You should make original works of your own.
