Lol, even in my small fandom there are Mary Sues...thankfully, I've only ever read one that fit the bill, so it's all right. Not like the hundreds that are in huge fandoms like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. wink

Yu Yu Hakusho is filled with Mary-Sues. >.< That's why I gave up on that section to resort to the small community of Fire Emblem. Not that many there, although there are some. And FE is a shounen-ai haven now, thanks to my constant ramblings and thwacks on the head, with the combined efforts of wonderful shounen-ai authoresses. *dances*

...Of course, there are always poorly-written romances. stressed

There is bad writing everywhere... stressed I like FF.N though, they have a lot of fandoms. I would like to see some other fan fiction sites, can anyone recomend some? wink

Someone was telling me about yaoi and yuri, (I don't know if I spelled that right...) but I've never read anything like that and I don't know if I'll like it. It seems...I dunno. But I'll read anything once, so are there any good stories on FF.N with this subject?

Yaoi is rampant with all-male casts, so nearly everything under romance there is yaoi. Personally, I don't like yuri.

lol! You can find them ANYWHERE! lol i mean if your into Harry potter, all you have to do is select the paring you want...say Harry /Darco and then weather you want romance ,Angst etc, then it will give you a list of stories for that pairing and Genre, simple! But be warned, not all of the genres and not all subjects have this, so you have to search long and hard i'm afraid!

P.S i just hope what you read isn't bad, because that can affect your opinions too! ^^ Have faith, we all read a bad fic at least once a day, but it suprs us to find the good ones too!
