I graduated a month ago. So, now I'm looking for work.

They aren't, really. Government classes are surprisingly simple, but only if it's your passion. I'm currently doing a policy analysis of the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982. I'm half way done, and just reached page 23. My roommate can't believe it, but I find it incredibly simple.

look for other jobs while you wait. I gurantee just waiting won't do you any good. it took me 6 mo. to find the job I have now. I'm very grateful I have it.

What did you major in?

I'm a double major in Political Science and Computer Science, have a letter of recommendation from my Congressman, and speak Russian... and I STILL can't get any job around here. It all depends on where you are and what field you're looking into.

But it doesn't help that I live in California's Central Valley. No Bay Area schools would accept me because I went to the local JC (didn't want to pay a fortune when I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do with my life), and very few companies hire locals because they think we're all morons... mostly because 80% of us are.
