Yes I do, and I believe I did not choose my word correctly. It's not insipid, at times it can be quite exhilarating, but it's... useless, disadvantageous... counterproductive, if you will. In all the pain that the rose can give you, what use can it give you? It may be pretty to look at, but after a while a few petals will fall off, and it will eventually wilt and die. After that, then what? You have nothing but scars on your hand, and you've wasted your life holding onto a rose that did what all roses do: Die.
But love is about sacrifices! It
takes sacrifice to be with the person you love.
Even if the rose wilted or died, that rose will always be with you; locked in your memories and your heart.
It's painful, but it's all worth it if you truly want to be with that person.
It's better than being
alone.
I mean, when you think about it, since everyone loves someone,
everyone is a rose. We all wilt and die, but it's better to die knowing that your life was good enough to leave behind without any regrets, then it is to die knowing that no one will be by your side on the day of your funeral.
Not loving someone is like saying you were born to be alone.
No one is born to be alone.
And don't say that you don't care. Because
I do. No matter how much of a pain you can be, if something were to happen to you, I would cry.
You know why? Because I know you; and it's also because I'll be feeling the pain you would feel, knowing that you couldn't live your life to the fullest, simply because you keep yourself in a dark cloud-- saying that the world is this and that, when you really don't know everything!
