I joined this forum to have another way of talking to Rin. There's no other reason why I would come here, except maybe a DDOS attack.

You sure you're not crushing on Rin-chan? neutral
You seem to really get along with her.

She is a good friend of mine, I'll grant you that. But just because I get along with someone doesn't mean I am "crushing" on her. Love is such an insipid emotion.

Love is not insipid! (and yes, I looked it up)
It's a very strong emotion. It can be, what I describe as, masochistic.
Even while it's expressed blissfully, Love can be a very painful thing.
It's like a rose. If it's not handled with care, the thorns will p***k you and you'll bleed. And it's not so easy to ignore the scars on your hands. It takes a truly dedicated person to indure such pain, and live the rest of their lives with their partner without the past and present lingering on in the relationship.

You see, Love is not something that can be taken lightly, Midnight-kun.
You say it's insipid, dull, but trust me. When someone comes around and claims their dedication to you, you will be sorry if you don't take it seriously. Because that person will only come once in a life-time, unless you grasp her before she has the chance to slip away.
Hold on to the thorns tightly, never let go, even if things get tough.

Do you understand where I'm coming from?

What the heck?! It got bleeped out?! But I was only describing what thorns do to skin! scream

Yes I do, and I believe I did not choose my word correctly. It's not insipid, at times it can be quite exhilarating, but it's... useless, disadvantageous... counterproductive, if you will. In all the pain that the rose can give you, what use can it give you? It may be pretty to look at, but after a while a few petals will fall off, and it will eventually wilt and die. After that, then what? You have nothing but scars on your hand, and you've wasted your life holding onto a rose that did what all roses do: Die.

But love is about sacrifices! It takes sacrifice to be with the person you love.
Even if the rose wilted or died, that rose will always be with you; locked in your memories and your heart.
It's painful, but it's all worth it if you truly want to be with that person.
It's better than being alone.
I mean, when you think about it, since everyone loves someone, everyone is a rose. We all wilt and die, but it's better to die knowing that your life was good enough to leave behind without any regrets, then it is to die knowing that no one will be by your side on the day of your funeral.
Not loving someone is like saying you were born to be alone. No one is born to be alone.
And don't say that you don't care. Because I do. No matter how much of a pain you can be, if something were to happen to you, I would cry.
You know why? Because I know you; and it's also because I'll be feeling the pain you would feel, knowing that you couldn't live your life to the fullest, simply because you keep yourself in a dark cloud-- saying that the world is this and that, when you really don't know everything!

Love is pretty over-rated and comparing it to a rose is soooo Cliché

Help me complete my dreams.

Awww, shut up, Seiji-kun! >o<
Nobody asked you! (J/K)
Anyway, I couldn't think of anything else to compare it to, okay? -_-
I'm Kurama's wife, remember? -.-
He's all about roses.

And how can you say that, Seiji-kun?!
You happen to be dating one of my closest friends!
BUNNY!!! scream

Being alone isn't so bad, actually. It can be quite enjoyable. I've been alone for the past 18 years, and I view the world clearer than most, with a view that few can reach. People are far too concerned with emotion nowadays, and ignore the more important things. Love clouds the vision and ties people back. The cost is far more than any reward it can offer.

You might want to get over that though. I'm going to join the US Special Forces, and I plan on coming back a hero, or in a wooden box... and I doubt it will be the former.

You can't honestly mean that. It doesn't matter how long you've been alone.
Eventually, you'll get sick of it, and you'll get bored.
You know? Sometimes, it's good to act naively about things. If you know everything, there wouldn't be anything to learn or experience, now would there?

Of course it's boring, but such is life. I doubt love would change that in the slightest. And you are right, there is little left for me to learn about life- I've been around people for far too long. However, I still have the opportunity to teach and instruct people on how to make a better world. While they may have to do away with petty emotion, it will be better for the world as a whole. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few and the one.

My God...
It just hit me. NOW I know why you seem so familiar...
You're just like Light Yagami from "Death Note". -__-
How depressing!

I Love Kurama-kun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^-^
I'm sorry, but who the hell is that?

Waiting to weed out the weaklings...
Waiting to smash in their windows and kick in their doors...
