I'm not even the slightest bit attracted to Mexicans, if that makes me racist I really don't care.

Cool. In that case, you are. You honestly don't see a problem with writing off AN ENTIRE ETHNICITY? Really?
That's cool. I don't care that I'm a racist. That's just the thing, it really doesn't matter if someone is or isn't. It's not really hurting anyone to dislike something.
Being a racist in that you dislike any one race is not really an issue to anyone except the racist, and these things should probably just be embraced rather than avoided, or lied about. Acting on racial hatred in a dangerous manner is an entirely different thing.

So, what's your point? Even if it is racist, that's not going to change what any person is attracted to. Perhaps if people weren't afraid to admit that they are just a little bit racist it would be less of an issue.

I'm not even the slightest bit attracted to Mexicans, if that makes me racist I really don't care. I'm not even the slightest bit attracted to men, if that makes me sexist I don't care. I'd rather be openly sexist, and openly racist that care so much about what others think about me that I don't acknowledge my own physical attraction to certain traits, and lack of attraction to others.
To the contrary, what is your point? Why must you attempt to derail my thread? If you have not the capacity to engage in such a discussion then simply refrain from attempting to do so.

EDIT/clarification:

You somehow manage to take a critique about an action you identify with as an attempt to debase your personhood. Notice that nowhere in my OP are the words "you are racist,";I did that purposefully because I want this to be a discussion about the act itself and not about people. Neither how people perceive you nor your perception of yourself is relevant. Indeed, this is not about you. Don't derail my thread. If you cannot discuss the actual topic then do not attempt to.

FYI, "I'm not attracted to <gender>" and "I'm not attracted to <race>" are not even in the same ballpark.

Actually, they are. And I blatantly desexualized an entire minority in that post and you missed it. It really doesn't matter if an act of disliking one race, or finding no appeal in it is racist or not. People are not all going to like every possible trait, despite the fact that these are physical and unchangeable. Rather than dwell on the fact that this is racist, it is wiser to embrace this as a natural difference among humans.

Human nature is to find appeal in certain characteristics, regardless of if you like this or not, regardless of if this is racist or not, it will always occur.

Rather than "I'm not attracted to x race" it's more like... I find some races, in general, more sexually appealing. That preference could have a genetic basis, so I don't see why it's necessarily "racist", unless I had some sort of racial assumption associated behind my "reasoning". But I don't REALLY have a "reason" for having racial "preferences".

For instance, I've noticed that I am often attracted to people who are half white, half Latino. It's pretty consistent, even when I can't tell they're Latino, and find out later/after the fact. It's pretty odd, and I'm not sure why I have that preference. I just find them attractive. I think a lot of it has to do with the skin color, which I don't see how that's "racist". Something about a certain shade of the warm, light brown skintone really turns me on.

As a race, I have no issue with African American/African people. My attractiveness criteria has mostly to do with certain features, which vary with race. For instance, if you have a wide nose, I won't find that attractive, regardless of skin color. I am definitely not under the impression that all people of a certain race look the same. For instance... with the Latino thing. Some Latinos are too dark for my taste. It's this shade of brown that I don't find attractive, yet I find black people attractive. Something about that medium shade is offputting. And yet, I like the color of skin that many Indian people have. I tend to only find Indian women attractive, no so much the men (I'm bisexual, btw). However, I have met exceptions to this rule. Also another medium-brown "shade" of people I find attractive are Asian-Islander races, like Filipino guys. They're often androgynously beautiful, but not always.

That's the thing. I can accept the exceptions to every rule. Generally I do not find Chinese/Japanese/Korean people all that attractive (sexually-- they can be "pretty" but I don't get turned on by their features) but I have found exceptions in J/K-rock artists.

As said prior I think most of the people I've been attracted to were mixed Caucasian/Latino. But that does not mean I find all mixed Caucasian/Latino people attractive. Likewise I do not consider all Indian men unattractive.

One thing I can say about black people is that I am not attracted to coarse hair. I really find sleek, dark hair sexy (like a lot of Asian people have). That does not mean it's a deal-breaker, if someone I am emotionally attracted to has coarse hair. It's just one of their lesser appealing features to me. I don't see how a general aesthetic like that can make me racist. I literally just do not find the texture appealing visually or in terms of physical texture.

I do think it is odd that a person can have a single black trait and be considered black. Like Barack Obama is 50-50 and yet people consider him a black man. Btw, I totally think the president is hot, just saying. But a lot of that is his charisma and intelligence as well. Looking at him walking down the street knowing nothing about him might not give the same response, lol.

I think whereas black people get lumped into one crowd so do white people. People do not acknowledge the difference between various Caucasian ancestries either. And even though I'm part Native American, it doesn't matter. I look white, so I'm white.

Differences will always occur. Realizing your own flaws and embracing them is healthy, realizing your own physical preferences and embracing them is healthy. Be this a flaw, or just a preference is up to the one with it to determine, but embracing it as reality is valuable regardless. You cannot hide from who you are, why would you lie about it?

And in practice holding a preference for one race over another means you aren't going to be as open to even thinking of dating them, but the OP has I understand it is talking about "I don't date black women." An absolute statement of exclusivity.
Correct. Though I will point out that I am also talking about people who make every excuse in the book to convince themselves that they're Not Racist, but still amount to them never dating a person of X race. And note that this is not a point of opportunity. I'm not talking about, for example, a black person in a neighborhood with only 10 persons of S race not dating any of them purely because of numbers. (Though it would count if, still, they are making every excuse in the book not to date any of those folks.)

I suspect that there are far more people who rationalise their exclusions than those who are outright with them.

Wikipedia
In psychology and logic, rationalization is an unconscious defense mechanism in which perceived controversial behaviors or feelings are logically justified and explained in a rational or logical manner in order to avoid any true explanation, and are made consciously tolerable – or even admirable and superior – by plausible means.[2] Rationalization encourages irrational or unacceptable behavior, motives, or feelings and often involves ad hoc hypothesizing. This process ranges from fully conscious (e.g. to present an external defense against ridicule from others) to mostly subconscious (e.g. to create a block against internal feelings of guilt).

People rationalize for various reasons. Rationalization may differentiate the original deterministic explanation of the behavior or feeling in question.[3][4] Sometimes rationalization occurs when we think we know ourselves better than we do. It is also an informal fallacy of reasoning.[5][x]

Acting like "who you are" is a product of biology and immutable is what my problem is. In general, we have a biological imperative to breed with those whom who have the least amount of biological similarity to. This makes more healthy babies.

Acting like people having a preference for their same race, and let's face it it's mostly white people in America doing so as compared to other races, is some natural fall out is a load of bullshit.

Not only that, to think that we in America, all across racial lines, ALL have a preference for whites is just some normal natural sort of thing is what I have a problem with.

Why do black women get fewer responses, but send out the most replies? Why are they the most open to interracial dating, but the least likely for it to happen for? Why are BLACK MEN less likely to respond to black women than white women?

You think this is all "natural"? That we can't do anything about it?

And if that's true why do I have no strict preference? Yes that's right I mean that literally, there is no racial group I will not date. I have no preference for hair or eye color, for height(unlike most women I do NOT prefer taller men), even my age range is pretty damn humongous.(16-55ish and I'm only 21). I like a pretty large weight range as well.

And if I don't think you're cute upon initial glance, one good conversation can change that in a heart beat.(and has!)

My point is, if I can have basically no ******** preference for a mate, what the ******** is wrong with everyone else?

You think having a nation wide bias against an entire group is just shook out like that? Really? And that there's not only something we shouldn't examine, but that it shouldn't matter? As if this isn't a canary in the coal mine for other issues. Plz.

I made a distinction. You can dislike something about someone while keeping it to yourself, acting upon it in any manner that actually harms another is entirely different.

I have absolutely no physical attraction to Mexicans. Sorry, it's just not there. I don't in any way find you physically appealing, and you can deal with that. I don't really tend to find you all that appealing in general, and I don't like hearing your language in america.
I do not under any condition go around throwing racial slurs at Mexicans, or bringing them any harm. I just avoid dating, or sleeping with them. Yeah, that's about the extent of my prejudiced actions. If that's too hateful for you, so be it.

Embrace your natural differences and realize when certain things are not attractive to you. Do not in any way bring harm to others, that's entirely different, and no me not sleeping with them will not kill anyone, thanks for the ego boost though.

Are peoples sexual preferences completely socialized? Could we socialize people for example to find only handicapped or other people sexually attractive? Or people with severe health issues?

You may have no preference, but not everyone is you. It's probably a good thing too, because that would actually get really boring, really quick. Yes, a good personality can change an initial thought on someone, but physical attraction is a big part of human mating. That's a completely normal part of sexuality.

Realizing who you are, and what is attractive to you is a normal part of your growth as a sexual being, and while you personally have no preference, you can't expect this of everyone.
