I rent. Eventually, I'd like to buy, but I'd like to really get set in my career first, and have plenty of money saved up first. I'm just starting out.

I could afford a mortgage right now, but if something like a refrigerator or water heater broke, I'd probably be ********.

Well, not necessarily, but it would make a dent in my finances.

And houses are expensive right now. Geez.
