Fun fact: We are primates.

With this fact now out in the open, let me tell you a few things about primates as a whole.

Primates, like most mammals, have dominant males who are considerably stronger than most females. Even the weakest average male is more than a match for the most hardened female primate.

Primates are pack animals and generally move in herds, though they are foragers and herbivores mostly, this means that there is no need to hunt and the males only role is to protect their herd. Which they do with solid aggression. The females role in most times of immediate danger is to escape with the younger primates of the herd to safety, either up into trees or away from the area of conflict.

Tl;dr: Humans are Primates. Male primates > Female primates because they HAVE to be.

Just because humans have evolved with a sense of self-conscience, doesn't mean that it changes the laws of nature. You'd do well to remember that.
