The method in which she's going to pass away, if at a very old age, is also preferable. She can enjoy her self-narcissism until that point. Neither, both have the same horrible end result and the same debilitating delusions, albeit in opposite directions. One could actually argue that Jenny is really unhappy but that it is a false front, a "jester's mask" if you will. Why would one eat one's self into oblivion if they were a happy balanced individual?

I should know because I suffer the same affliction. When I went to school a large portion of people told me I was ugly... They did that long enough that it stuck, and it stuck good. To this day I still have trouble recognizing when a girl is making advances. "After all, why would she want an uggo like me?"
