If a man is hitting his wife for such a poor reason as that, I would remind the wife that there are frying pans and other blunt objects in said kitchen.

Ok then. So we've established that it's a "poor reason" to hit someone, just because you have a "low tolerance" for their behavior.

Good, now how do you justify hitting a drunk guy, who's only "flaw" is being in a state of inebriation?

Simple, when I tell you to leave me alone that is what I mean. Don't try to talk to me or grab me. And don't get mad when I reject every time you try. As long as follow those rules and don't try to do anything physical to me, I'm not gonna do anything to you.
Then why did you hit the drunk guy if he didn't hit you? All he did was hit on you.

LOLOLOL

Because he wouldn't leave me alone. Even had the nerve to follow me outside. Besides, I didn't hit him. I just took his arm and twisted it behind his back. That was when he got the message.

Ok...but he wasn't "intent on causing severe damage". As per your own statement, that means you had no justification to utilize a physical attack, of any kind. Being annoying is not intent on severe damage.
I don't get why there are so many weak bitches in the world, that can't stick up to a man. I strongly believe that every female should be presented with an automatic weapon to be used against violent males. But only if they promise to use it when appropriately needed.

Ok, and does that excuse the guy who hits his wife, because he has "a low tolerance" for his woman being outside of the kitchen?

And if a drunk women tries to talk to and grab a man who has rejected her, he gets to clock her, right?

Considering she said this, it sounds possible.

Quote:

I'm just that kind of person. If you do violence to me, I shall return in kind. And I expect you to do the same. I respond to violence with violence. I was taught to defend yourself by any means necessary. If I have to hurt you to make you leave me alone and go the other way, then that is what I will do.

That was why I hit him. I have a low tolerance for drunks.

If necessary. But as I said earlier, be warned. There are men who won't take that sitting down.

Because there was nothing else you could have done, right?

...You don't want to give every woman an automatic. Might lead to a whole lot of deaths.

......And now, I must go to sleep. See you guys later on.

Well for the longest time I didn't understand either. But I've heard from some friends that in their cases (not very harsh cases, but did get slightly physical) in which they were thrown against walls, shoved down, etc., the situation was quite progressive rather than sudden. And them, being blinded by love, were more than usually forgiving. And since the guy apologized every time, they didn't know how dangerous he would progressively get. Eventually, they were just like "wtf is this s**t?" and left.

Maybe it's just where I'm from, but I haven't met very many women who are afraid to step up to a man.

How many of you have heard the story of what happened between Jayde Nicole and Joe Francis? Well here's the short verson of what happened, Joe Francis was hitting on a friend of both Jenner (her boyfriend) and Nicole. When Francis became very persistent, Jayde Nicole threw her drink on Francis. He then pulled Jaydes hair, punched her in the face, threw her to the ground, and then started kicking her (and yes this is true, there is security footage).

So my questions to you are...

1. Did Fancis have right to do that?
2. When is it acceptable to hit a woman?

I saw some comments and responses about it on places like youtube and wanted to know what you think.

In my opinion, he did not have the right to do that to her. She poored a drink on him, he has the right to poor a drink on her (plus it would be more classy then what he did), nothing more. Not because she is a girl, but because she is a human being. What she did was wrong, but all she did was poor a drink on him and he reacted by pulling her hair, throwing her on the ground, and kicking her. There were plenty of better ways he could have haddled the situation.

Ew, Joe Francis.

1. Yeah, um, that's a big NO. Even if a guy had poured a drink on him it still would've been outta line. The right thing to do would be to just leave and ignore the crazy b***h dousing you with beer.

2. I'd say if a woman has you at gun point or something. Or if she could seriously kick your a** with her bare hands. Basically, self-defense. I've heard there's plenty of instances of spousal abuse where it's the wife who's abusive, so you never know.

I'd like to think as men and women being equal. It is never ok to hit anyone, man or female. However, there are circumstances, fear for your life etc which would warrant it. If someone hits you in any relationship, the best thing to do is leave.
If a woman sees fit to do something to a man, it's probably likely he deserved it. So reacting at all except in total submission is wrong.
