Though it sounds realistic.

My problem is that maybe it's just because I grew up around hicks, but if some woman tried to hit one of my drunk uncles pretty much for the reason of him being drunk, she'd find herself getting at least hauled to the ground by someone else in my over large family, because while it might not be in good taste to hit girls, they don't get to run around hitting people because they feel like it.
