I don't care what kind of operation you got, if you're born a man, you're still a man, even if you have fake parts of a female put in, and vice versa.

s**t like this just makes me want to throttle someone.

El Salvador Trans Attacks
Quote:
n this week's incident in the nation's capital of San Salvador, Hernandez said, "three detectives of the PNC [the national police] insulted and brutally beat up four transgendered youths. The detectives called for reinforcements, and just to arrest one of the young men it took 10 police cars and 18 policemen, who joined in beating the youth so badly he wound up in a local hospital-a typical example of the excessive force police use when targeting gay people."

When the other three victims of the police assault decided to press charges with the help of Entre Amigos, Hernandez said, "they were made to stand in line for five hours at the police station-only to be met with a refusal to take down their complaint. We then went to the unit that is supposed to investigate police abuses to file our complaint-only to be told that the police were very offended by our decision to press charges, and that instead of taking the complaint against the police, we were told that charges would be filed against the victims of the police abuse. Finally, at two in the morning, we were obliged to go to the national prosecutor's office to file a complaint."

s**t like that makes me think twice about coming out of the closet. I can cross dress on gaia, but in the real world it's just too damn risky, especialy where I live, the whole town's full of religious wackos and homohobes.

Marriage means a union between consenting adults. Why is that so hard?

Gender is a mental aspect, not a physical one. Parts do not make you male or female, how you relate to your body and how others percieve you does. Your sex is a physical aspect, that is what you are defining not gender.

There are transpeople who do not undergo surgery and live as their true gender. Not all transpeople need surgery to live as the gender they know themselves to be.

Got a handy categorization for people who don't have clearcut chromosomes or genitalia?

Also, you should really do some research on SRS before you make such ridiculous claims.

Gender is mental, though, and not physical. Out of curiosity, what would you categorize intersex individuals as? Or what about an individual who has XXY chromosomes? Or XYY? It does happen, you know. The same mutations that happen to autosomes can happen to the sex chromosomes as well. There are even individuals with XO chromosomes.

Gender's mental according to the scientific community. And individuals with chromosomal mutations aren't called 'hermaphrodites'. They don't have a name, really.

Some of them do. I mean, XXX are called 'meta-females', but the others don't really have names.
