Syndactyly
Then you admit that my definition is correct in Layman's terms.
Layman's terms are worse than useless when discussing scientific theory. Like theories of social oppression. Dur.
The layman definition of evolution would be a ******** stupid thing to bring to a discussion about the evolution of species and the biodiversity of our planet. It's what the creationists do all the time actually.
The rest of this paragraph depends on using the layman's definition, which I don't accept as viable. So moving on.

Are you SURE that is how they mean it? Is it possible they could just see it the way I did, and the way Blair described?
I'm not sure and that's just the problem. There's no way to be sure. Someone could mean it that way or they might not. Should I really take the chance based on a hope that they're innocent or change the language used so that those who do have the wrong idea are taught otherwise?
Is it really so hard to split the words? Nope. It's ******** easy. And it has a real benefit.
Quote:
I never split the term into "women and transwomen." Transwomen are, in my view, a type of woman, and just because it takes the form of one word doesn't mean I'm telling them they're not really women. If I really believed that, I wouldn't use the term "transman" either, because I know I'm a man, and I don't separate myself from other men.
Not everyone is like you. Does it really give you a manties wedgie to split the words?
Quote:
No, I wouldn't. I've worked in theater for roughly 10 years. I've seen hundreds of shitty auditions, I know what signs to look for. I also know a lot about behavioral psychology and what to look for in a liar.
You've also been fooled a lot, like in past relationships. Theory is all well and good, but even social engineers can be played. Especially when we're invested in the opinions we ask for, right? It would suck if someone thought I looked like a dude. It would hurt. So would I really analyze the situation perfectly with such a painful possibly? Or delude myself a little to protect myself?
That inclination to protect the mind is present in all of us.
rofl Bullshit.
Give me an example of a hateful and sexist thing I've said about men (that wasn't a hilarious joke, like the ones I make about women and nonbinaries too). Even one example. Don't worry, I'm patient.
Quote:
No, it is not true that all men rape women
Funny how I didn't say that. Literacy, do you possess it?
Quote:
that all men take advantage of women, that all men abuse women, that all men forcibly dominate women, that all men are "chavanist pigs," etc.
Funny how I didn't say any of that. No literacy huh?
I said, specifically and distinctly: A lot of women are raped by men (not all men, just that a lot of the offenders are men, a very very large number. ******** it could all be the same guy with a mask, maybe. Still doesn't change what the victim experienced, which was a man raping her). Since women have this knowledge of the fact that a s**t ton of rapes happen per year in America, and that they're mostly done by men (with no data on whether it's just the same 50 guys or if it's single and double time offenders), one could understand them being distrustful.
Mostly cuz y'all don't wear signs. There's no way to know who's the good guy and who's the bad guy, and the risk is trauma, horrible horrible trauma. It isn't sexist to not automatically trust you, even if you think it is, in the face of that.
Now, here's hoping you actually read that instead of building straw sculptures of folk in my field.

The statements really make the b***h a hypocrite.
Not reading s**t really makes the d**k a ********.
XD I love word games!
