In the OP, I noticed a lot of opinions that were not backed up with any factual information. Basically, everything stated in the OP was based on stereotypical evidence.

People bash on Christianity becasue they think that amkes them idividuals. here's the facts. Most people are NOT Christian. Most people wither believe in something else, or nothing at all. If Christianity was about conformity, then Jesus would have never been crucified because everyone would agree with him. The people who crucified him were not individuals. They all agreed on one thing.

As for depressed teens, get over yourselves. you've got it better than most and be gald that people are even there to try to teach you what's right and wrong.

Stop assuming everyone is Christian, (even though I am) and Christian bashers, get your facts strait.

I am a Roman Catholic, and I dont follow ALL the scriptures or ALL the traditions. But I do follow a golden rule that pretty much all other religens have. Be good to others...

Thats what everyone needs to do. People are not doing that in the name of there religion. And thats what give christianity a bad rap.

As for gay marriage, I dont agree with it, but I wont condemn the people that take part in it. I dont like the - HEY BUSH! The last time I checked- God created Adam and Eve. There wasn't some third party that we're all oblivious to, such as a second man or woman.

The basis of this thread was not for quoted, factual information, though there is information on some Christian charities. I'll send you links if you'd like. I'm not assuming everyone is Christian. I don't believe anyone in this thread has. My point is to put the Christian bashing to an eternal rest.
