Are you proposing that men stop being attracted to woman in skirts?
Are you suggesting you are more concerned with my diction than the actual issue this thread highlights?
Now I'm rather new to this, but I think its a safe assumption that the issue of the thread is drawn out in your dictation of details regarding said issue. But by your own words, you take issue with adults being attracted to females who dress in schoolyard garb. You also take issue with these uniforms being sold at Party stores as Halloween costumes for young ladies. You go on further to say that adults sexualizing these costumes are in the wrong and should stop. So it is only sensible for me to ask if you are proposing adults stop being attracted to these outfits. If I am mistaken in interpreting your views, by all means, feel free to correct me.
In the meantime, as an extension to my question, your never going to stop the male libido. Currently, these outfits pass as sexy and appealing; it reminds me of when my ex-girlfriend dressed up as a sexy anime schoolgirl for Halloween. It was very attractive and she knew it. Of course, we were in high-school at the time and our school did not require uniforms. Even then, we all knew that these outfits, with some modifications, can be very appealing to the sexes. However, I do not know of any school that sanctions the use of mini-skirts for school uniforms. There is a clear difference between a woman trying to look sexy in a skirt, and a girl simply going to school. A man can tell the difference, which leads me back to my original questions with a modification: "Are you proposing men stop being attracted to woman in skirts, and/or that men stop being attracted to woman who are younger than they are?" Keep in mind, thinking a young lady is beautiful is a far cry from attempting to engage in a sexual encounter.
Alrighty, I'm totally feeling where you're coming from now. My issue here is the portrayal of the "schoolgirl look" in media and how it's turned into a sexual thing (blanking on words here). I'm not saying adults should stop being attracted to it, just it should not be so popular in media. ***** is a present 'mental illness', as another user stated, but it isn't put in the media as a normal behavior. However, being attracted to the schoolgirl look (which is mostly, if not completely worn practically by underaged girls!!) is completely normal and socially acceptable. So socially acceptable it is sold as costumes and used as a scenario in porn.
I am not telling people to stop being attracted to whatever they are attracted to. I am just bothered by the fact it is so present in media and daily life but is not adressed.
I shared a building with a highschool that had full uniforms. The skirts for summer were barely above the knee and tights were worn. Students still pulled the skirts up higher. However, like I said before
just because the lengths are different, the basis is still the same. They are not seperate entities. They are based off of the clothing a child wears and sexualized enough for adults to get off on. Just because a man can tell the difference, what makes it okay?
Since I answered your original question earliar, I will send one back. What makes the schoolgirl look sexy to an individual? And why is it called the 'sexy schoolgirl"?
For the media concern: It is simply a cultural and social aspect that has been prevalent for quite some time. Its a long lasting trend that skirts add to the imagination are provocative. However, I do not see through your reasoning that the length of a skirt is irrelevant; that it cries to the same issue. I disagree. A longer skirt is not as inviting as a mini skirt. A skirt is just something ladies are prone to wear, and some men; as they are called, kilts.
I don't see why it should be addressed. You'll have a hard time trying to convince people that a certain article of clothing warrants serious consideration. Fishnets are used in porn too. Some men even find the whole notion of leggings and stockings very attractive, should these articles be addressed when teenagers wear them as well? And to what end? Are you suggesting we stop letting teenagers wear skirts? As for the adults, I think your trying to find a correlation between a mini-skirt and borderline *****, when that is not the case. Most men like myself can tell you that a skirt allows for easy access to a woman crotch, and lets the imagination flourish when it comes to sexual encounters. I do not believe an article of clothing that is predominately worn by teenagers would suggest that that same article should make a man question himself as to if he would engage in sex with an underage girl. While you may not have made this statement, it seems that your are on the edge of such a notion.
As to your question, as a man, the schoolgirl look is very attractive for woman who can pull it off. It shows of various parts of their body and highlights the imagination; for obvious reasons, but since you asked: I repeat that it is more of a social and psychological manifestation that does not necessarily indicate attraction to under aged girls, only an attraction to a woman with a beautiful body. This notion is key, since it seems you are trying to link clothing worn in the bedroom by adults, to the sexual attraction toward under aged girls. You have not shown that there is a link, outside of the already stated ***** mentality.
-It is also natural for men to be attracted to younger females. Placing an age limit does nothing to hinder the impulse attraction some men, and yes, woman feel toward a younger individual. It is called the 'sexy schoolgirl' simply because of the outfit and the sexy woman who happens to be wearing it.
I'll finish by asking thrice, "All of this: To what end?" as in, what are your intentions here?
Oh my goodness! Why are people here focusing on the length on the skirt and me 'skirt hating'??? I have nothing against a skirt, nor the length. The school girll LOOK is a whole OUTFIT. It consist of HAIR, SKIRT, STOCKINGS, SHOES, SHIRT, BOOKBAG ETC. So what if porn uses short skirts? Everyone wears skirts. The fact that the color scheme and scenario of said porno's are based on female student attire and environment is what bothers me. Not the length of the goddamn skirt. Pornstars would dress up in the iconic plaid skirt, white dress shirt, stockings and pigtails to mimic a school girl. The skirt could be 3 feet long but it still mocking a female student!!! People can fantasize about skirts whatever, but the second it resembles a whole uniform and look that children wear thats when the problem starts! I dont think the scenario of "school girl phucks teacher in detention" is the appreciation of the beautiful female body, but a fetish of a teen girl. If the outfit is just sexy on the person that wears it, why is it just not called a normal sexy woman? No, its called a sexy schoolgirl.
My purpose/intention here is to bring light to a topic thats isn't spoken about much. I'm not trying to make it into a movement, but it wouldnt hurt to address something that is deemed normal by society right?
