So, for the past month I've been working at a Spirit Halloween store (seasonal-only store owned by Spencer's Gifts that sells Halloween costumes and some accessories). Not until the day before Halloween did I notice how incredibly racist it really is. Now bear with me, really think about it for a minute, while I bring up some key points that helped me realize this.

All of the sexy adult costumes feature white girls on the package.
The humor costumes are all white...
...even the ones depicting racists costumes.
Kids costumes?
Yep, every model is WHITE.

Second point:
Even accessory costumes are made for Caucasian skin only.
Every latex injury or skin attachment, WHITE.
Every bald cap or wig with bald skin, WHITE!


There is ONE group of costume and accessories that contained black people. Care to take a guess?
Pimps.


So, ED, with all your up-at-arms attacks on other things that might or could be called racist, why overlook the obvious: Halloween is RACIST!

seriously find better things to demand rights for, then modeling skanky outfitts, I could say that it's racist against white people because they're depicting all these white girls as sluts! Are you saying white girls are whorish?! I'm offended.

Maybe that's because Halloween is an American holiday, and America is a WHITE country.

In Japan, I'm sure all of the crap they make for their holidays is only written in Japanese, and only shows Japanese people on the packaging. Does that mean they're racist against white people? No, it means they're freaking Japanese, and doing things in their own way.

Likewise, we white people are doing things our own way, in our own white country.
